nothing wrong with that
I think one of those numbers is wrong
because its true :-) but i joined because i am lover of simpsons :-) i am going to watch all the seasons as my mate from apartment is doing![]()

i mean when homer eats that special donuts which he got from mr. burns - it lasts for about 2 seconds, i think it is a song i heard it somewhere :-)

here it is:
wow thank ya very much for your speed)) anyway how did u find that so quickly? i dont like this type of music normally but this one is kinda different :-)

I'm glad I could help.
The music is very recognisable, but most people don't know what it's called. I didn't know the name of it either until recently, when I came across a very shocking scene from a movie which had that music in the background. Now whenever I think of that music, I think of that scene because it was so shocking, so all I did was type that scene into youtube to find the music you wanted.![]()
In the episode "Simpsons Christmas Stories," where Grampa says "And to think I let you scoop me!" is that referring to the sexual slang word, or some other term?

To what degree are the DVD commentaries edited? I've been wondering this for a while. Sorry if this has already been asked.

To my knowledge, the commentaries have only been edited in the UK. These edits may however have also occurred in the US and other countries.
Simpson and Delilah audio commentary was cut by 15 seconds due to moderate sex references, to avoid a 12 rating.
Lisa the Greek audio commentary was also cut by 15 seconds due to moderate sex references, to avoid a 12 rating.

Apart from that, commentaries have never been cut.

they've edited commentaries? hm, the more you know
This is all purely speculation, but it has seemed to me that there have been commentary cuts before, I dunno why I suspect them though apart from the random moments of silence just being there. Go back to the Treehouse of Horror III commentary at the King Homer segment. Jean or Reiss or someone, I forget who, mentions how all the writers went to Sam Simon's house on a weekend to watch King Kong and Matt Groening mentions how he wasn't invited. I think there's a pretty long silence after that and again this is merely a guess but it wouldn't surprise me if there was something edited out on that one...

That's a good theory. I always figured those were just big, awkward silences, but the more I think about it, the more I think you might be right.

I don't know if this the right thread but it seems close enough. I was wondering if any of you guys or gals happen to know the episode in which Springfield's finest wiggum and lou are investigating some sort of crime and they find a can of Buzz cola and wiggum says something to the effect of " make sure and get an image from the point of view of the can." Also, the screen changes and everything is greenish. I believe it is making fun of CSI but I don't quite know. I cannot for the life of me tihnk of what episode that comes from!! Help me friends!!!
I know what you are talking about but I can't remember the episode....I think it might be The Seven-Beer Snitch. Aren't Wiggum and Lou trying to arrest people over ridiculous charges and they get Homer because he kicked the can too many times? I dunno for sure.
EDIT: I just checked and it is indeed The Seven-Beer Snitch, around the middle of the episode.
im trying to find the episode where this quote was from ...
' did those doors open because im beautiful ?'
' no they opened because you stepped on the mat , but if that wasnt there they would open for you , because your beautiful'
Whats this from !! >??
thanks !

I'm not sure if this is the episode, but Homer has plastic surgery in "Husbands and Knives" (Season 19, Episode 7)
Homer also gets lots of hair in "Simpson and Delilah" (Season 2, Episode 2) which make people like him more. But I have a strong feeling that it isn't the episode you're thinking of.
Could it be Large Marge you're thinking of?
Because beautiful = breast implants.
Oh wait.
Thank you so much raspberry! aat34, That excahnge you're asking about is from the family guy episode where peter gets a whole plastic surgery makeover. He is talking to the dude from The Beautiful People's Club or Society. The episode is called He's Too Sexy For His Fat.
In "My Sister, My Sitter" what is it that Smithers would eagerly "want this taken care of."? I never got it, is it a gay reference?

From what I read, it's apparently an allusion to gay people going to the emergency room for having something stuck in their anus.
Does anyone know the episode in which Moe crashes into a wall/tree and is like "hahahaha owwwww hahahahahaha"?
He does something similar sounding in I Am Furious (Yellow) near the end of the episode.
