Poochie needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine
What's the episode where Smithers tells Burns that thanks to loopholes the power plant only pays $4 tax a year (or something along those lines)?
EDIT: Thank you Darren![]()

It's 3 dollars in taxes and the episode is The Joy of Sect.

episode with the mad men opening parody? i'm pretty sure it was a THOH but i don't remember which
^It was.
Hey, I've been looking for the episode where Mr. Burns sends a guy to a middle east country through his trap door, and when the guy gets there they scream at him "Dance, Dance!" and they all yell in a very stereotypical way. What is the name of the episode? Please and thank you.

Hi, just wondering what episode it is that ends with hot air balloons over Paris. would love to know.
Is it the Simpsons kids who are in the hot air balloon? If so, it's 'Mommie Beerest', season sixteen.
Thanks but no, its one where the family is in Europe and the kids are chasing homer and marge around. Thats how I remember it anyway.
Well, the whole premise of Catch 'Em If You Can was about the kids chasing Homer and Marge, but that wasn't in Europe. Natural Born Kissers, Mommie Beerest and Million Dollar Maybe are the only episodes I can think of with hot air balloons, so I simply can't work out what episode you're talking about.
Are you sure you haven't mixed up moments from various episodes? That's happened to me before

There's an episode where Bart is outside alone, clouds form, and you hear the song "Ring Around the Rosey" sung. It's a truly scary scene. What episode is it from? I thought it was Lisa Simpson, This Isn't Your Life, but that scene doesn't have kids singing, and it isn't as long as what I'm thinking of.

Thanks man, yeah maybe your right. the two parts I remember (which could be from different episodes) are a really unusual animation sequence where the kids are chasing homer and marge ( I think) and it is a side on view of the chase, like an old video game. And then a final shot at the end of the episode of a bunch of hot air balloons floating over Paris. If they are from seperate episodes I'd really like to know which ones.
Has anyone in the UK noticed how the episode CED'oh is hardly ever shown . I've only seen it once (when it was originally aired). What are your thoughts, or do you know why they don't show it? On Sky1 it seems to be the same episodes over and over (a certain group of episodes they like to show).
Sky and Channel 4 show different seasons. Currently:
Channel 4: 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18
Sky: 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22
However these change every year, sometimes even at random points, so it's impossible to be entirely sure. This October/November I'm pretty sure Channel 4 are getting the rights to season 19 (they have to stay 4 years/seasons behind Sky, and with season 23 premièring this September, Channel 4 will be allowed to show 19) and 13, and maybe another classic season (though the classic seasons seem to be played once out of the blue and then never appear again, so you can't really predict them).
I agree Sky's scheduling of The Simpsons is fairly terrible (though I don't have it). From the looks of things it plays season 20+ to death, in a random order, with some season 8/9 and also a lot of season 15. It has the rights to so many seasons yet it doesn't even use most of them.
To answer your question, well, there's no specific answer. C.E.D'oh's in season 14 which I clearly remember being on Sky1 very recently (but obviously not now) as I remember seeing "Brake My Wife Please" at someone's house. Obviously they've just stopped showing it for now. There's no reason C.E.D'oh should be singled out - if there is then I don't know of it. Maybe you've just missed it every time it's been on Sky? It's hard to predict what episodes will be on next (due to erratic programming).

In "My Fair Laddy" and in "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)" there are scenes where Homer is walking the streets and various signs appear on the screen. In My Fair Laddy, it is when Homer is searching for blue pants; he is walking through the street with the patched pants shaking his head as signs appear on the screen (e.g.,The Blue Pants Cafe - We Do Not Sell Blue Pants). In The Mysterious Voyage of Homer, the scene is when Homer is searching for his soul mate and again various signs slide across the screen (e.g., Employees Must Wash Hands). What are these scenes referencing? From what movie are these scenes copying?

what episode is it where Frink measures the size of the postmans bell bottom pants to determine when he was frozen ?

Do re-runs air in the same order across the country, or is that the local station's choice?
