As it was said on a DVD commentary, Matt Groening or Al Jean (I think) said things that last longer get funnier and funnier and I agree with that

I dunno. It was funny, but I felt it was obvious what was going to happen when he ran out the first time. I was actually expecting him to run back in during the conclusion speech at the end - though I'm not sure whether that would make the joke better or worse.

Also bumped it up to 4/5 after second viewing. Almost 4.5.

Something we don't see anymore, working political satire. It features a good amount too, jabs at Fox News, gun nuts, scandals in politics. Krusty's completely in character, and the episode is very relevant with Arnold in office. Only negatives are a couple jokes in the first act and the penis line. Would've been funnier if it'd been bleeped. A-
