Just finished watching Lisa Gets an "A" (A+). This was a real special episode since it came our during Season 10 when the show was really slumping and came out with a terrific episode to keep the show alive.

Hey all, just got back from my date. Food was great and the atmosphere was awesome at the restaurant I went to.
Anyways, I thought I'd watch another one of the more classic episodes from Season 4. "Homer the Heretic" (A+) great plot, storyline, and voice acting.

Finished watching Kamp Krusty (B). Could've gotten an A but the animation in parts of the episode were real bad ...Season 1 bad.

"Weekend at Burnsies:" One of my favorites from Season 13, very underrated IMO. The crow stuff at the beginning was hilarious (Homer naming the crows, "This is a crowbar!", "A pack of crows are called a murder, honey.") This was a nice enough introduction to the medicinal marijuana plot. Some astute satire (the scene at the bar about Carl's alcohol poisoning) and all the Homer stoned gags ("We have a kitchen!?", singing "Smoke on the Water," living in the attic with Otto, "That saxophone would make a great pipe," etc.) highlight the second act. And being a Phish fan, I loved seeing them guest. The tangent at the end may have been, well, a tangent, but I still enjoyed it. Burns was hilarious as usual, and the Clinton gag was the best they've done on the show. And some spectacular animation in Homer's hallucination. A+
