I know you are probably correct, but there were many "little" moments that I had forgotten about that either made me smile or actually chuckle. Still, a 2 is the most I'd give it.

This is one of the episodes that I could talk about with almost everyone. All my friends knew the jokes to this and the ironically humorous actions like Homer's groan when he's hit by Drederick Tatum(one of my good friends loved that). Definitely one of the better episodes, especially since I'm a boxing fan.

The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson - 8/10 A bit overrated, but still a solid episode. The episode as a whole was pretty funny, and the musical number was great.

Lisa's Sax - 8.25/10 I think I may have seen this too many times perhaps? Sweet story and all, but I didn't feel as impressed as I did with it last time (i.e. 8.5/10).

This episode is underrated. It's kind of an oddity, but I've always enjoyed this one a lot. It's one of the great episodes to show someone if you're trying to prove that Simpsons does have morals and a lesson to it.

Season 5:
The Last Temptation of Homer ~ A
Rosebud ~ A
Cape Feare ~ A-
Marge on the Lam ~ A-
$pringfield ~ B+

Most of these episodes were better than I remember. Last time I watched "Last Temptation" I dismissed it, for whatever reason, perhaps because of the subplot. However on rewatch, Homer carries the episode extremely well and the subplot helped by taking some weight off the main plot. It is not perfect, because Bart's subplot is a bit boring perhaps at times, but otherwise excellent. $pringfield was much funnier than I remembered but there were points where the plot was perhaps a bit unengaging, as it attempted to juggle 2 and a half plots (burns as howard hughes, marge at the casino, homer and the kids at home) at once, which had mixed success. I think more emphasis on the family could have helped. But it was still a fun outing. Cape Feare on rewatch was still funny-ish, but this time I could just see they were trying to fill time at points, so it went down in my books. Rosebud lept from an A- to a near A+ episode, but I've already wrote about that in the R&R. And finally, Marge on the Lam was quite a sweet, fun episode that I'd forgotten about. It was by no means perfect, but I really like the end with the car chase.

Season 2:
Old Money ~ A-
Principal Charming ~ A-
Bart's Dog Gets an F ~ A-

All these episodes were solid, and very enjoyable, but I wasn't "wowed" by any of them. In fact they were all very close in quality, with Old Money probably edging the top spot here. I can't really put my finger on why I didn't "love" them, per se, but, despite them being very well written, I just wasn't. Maybe this will change with time. However one thing I will comment on: Lisa is just superb in season 2. She's incredibly likeable and shows her intelligence in more subtle, naturalistic ways, even compared to the later classic era (S7&8). Her small parts in all the above episodes were great.
