The Ten-Per-Cent Solution
1/5 F
Marge On The Lam -- A
When Flanders Failed: Homer was rather bitchy in this one, but more than made up for it by the end, when he realised how he indirectly contributed to the downfall of the leftorium. The subplot was very good too. 8/10
Bart The Murderer: Best of Season 3 so far, with a great appearance from Fat Tony and his cronies. 9/10
Bart has 2 mommies ~ B-

Treehouse of Horror VIII - B+
And that was the story of the first caramel cod... err... I mean Halloween.
Simpson and Delilah - 8.25/10 I thought Karl was a good character, and there was some great characterisation of some of the characters here. I wasn't blown away or anything, but it was certaintly good.
The Ten-Per-cent Solution - 5.5/10 Quite dull, and full of lame pop culture references. The agent (I can't even remember her name) was uninteresting, and the plot felt like it had been done before. However, it was better than last week's episode, and I don't think that it was offensively bad.
Treehouse of Horror - 7.25/10 Decent, but Treehouse of Horror episodes are often inferior to many of the other episodes of the season. The first two segments were okay, but the third one stood out as the best, as I felt it had the best atmosphere.

"My Sister, My Sitter"
I'm sorry to say I don't really like this episode anymore. One of the few classic season episodes I can say that about. It's not terrible and still better than most modern Simpsons episodes, but it just wasn't a very enjoyable watch. Not very funny or moving (I expect great "Simpsons" episodes to be one or the other, or both) and the ending was really tacked on. It felt lazy and didn't really make sense...a rushed ending with no logic, just for the sake of having a happy ending.
It did have one line that I thought was classic, though - Comic Book Guy's "Oooh, cheeseburgers and loneliness are a dangerous mix!". The sight gag with the wheelbarrow line was very fun as well. I also liked hearing Josh Weinstein's son talking about his schoolmate getting a cast that looks kinda like Bart's and saying this was his favourite episode at the end of the audio commentary. The first time Weinstein's kids did "guest commentary", I was a little annoyed because they didn't contribute much, but this time I thought the boy's comments were cute.
