Lisa's Date With Density - 8/10 A good episode that is often overlooked. Some really funny scenes with Milhouse.

A Star is Burns - B+. The plot is average IMO, but I love the Critic and Jay Sherman is always funny.
The Frying Game - 6.5/10
The screamapillar scenes made my ears hurt and were kinda pointless, but the second and third acts were quite enjoyable and the twist in the end, even if it wasn't the best ending ever.

Dude, Where's My Ranch - 4.25/10 Yeah, this is bad. Generally unfunny, sloppy characterisation, and some mean moments (Homer's song about Ned was too cruel). Not much good can be said about this weak attempt.

Finished watching Season 13 which I purchased a few weeks ago. Pretty good season, and this episode is a high point in the season. I just can't be bothered to rate all the episodes, but if you want me to, I will![]()

The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer -- C-
EDIT: Okay, I finished watching it.
I haven't seen late Jean in a while, but if there's one thing that stands out about this episode it's just how bad it fails at telling a story. The part with the children on the bus at the beginning took ages, thanks to the stupid Metallica appearance (pretty pointless) and Otto singing to his cassette player. Not to mention his voice was off. Finally, we get to the car pool, and then suddenly the story moves super fast and within 2 minutes Michael is feared by everyone at the school. It just felt really off and seriously dented by enjoyment of the episode. Not to mention the numerous lame jokes. On the plus side, Michael was an okay character, there were about... 5? smile worthy lines (not laugh worthy, but smile worthy) and... I guess everyone was characterised okay?
The ending was terrible though, and the story kept changing focus, nothing in Act 3 felt connected at all, it was amazing that it actually aired in that state. Another bland late Jean episode with jokes that go on too long, awful pacing and storytelling, and lame jokes.

Marge on the Lam - A
Underrated episode, there are plenty of great lines in this one, such as 'Sticking together is what good waffles do.' and 'Can I throw up in your bathroom? I'll buy something.'

Watching S13 all over again.
I don´t like "remembering" episodes. For me it looks like a total lack of subject, imagination and creativity...
Even thought, there are always nice moments. My favourites are Kang and Kodos praying and the final song "They will never stop the simpsons"
Rafael.

Jazzy and the Pussycats -- C
To be fair, this was okay (compared to "Mook"). There were few gags I liked, like the whole "in the pocket" thing, but overall it really wasn't very funny. But once again - plot problems. Lisa's plot came in and Bart's disappeared for ages. Two bloody music montages (though I liked the music used, it's no sacrifice for real writing... I mean, Bart's montage was utterly pointless and not funny) and lots of filler of people watching music really stunted the conflict between Bart and Lisa in the episode. As a result the ending was a complete anti-climax: "The money is going towards the animal home" "thank you bart" the end. Both Bart and Lisa felt really out of character. Lisa was really, really annoying at points. At the end she didn't even care that Bart had given up his drumming. And Bart was just so... one dimensional. He was a brat for the whole episode and then suddenly he does something nice. One scene with him reflecting on what he'd done would have really helped the conflict. Instead they focused on jokes on montages. Had potential but once again was shoddily done, just not as shoddily as "Mook". But it did keep my interest at least, despite its flaws.
Lisa the Simpson -- A-
Really great episode. Not perfect... but it's just such a great, moving character study of Lisa.

Summer of 4 ft 2 - 9.25/10 Fantastic. Great all around, and probably the best Season finale (as many say, it's also could have been a great series finale). My only issues are some characterisation that I'm not too keen on, and I do think it's a little bit overrated on here. Great, but not the best episode ever.

Bart vs. Australia: 9.5/10. One of my all-time favorite Simpsons episodes. Back in the day, I got so close to getting my Science teacher to show the whole episode just because of the thing with Coriolis Effect on the toilets.
OT- Dehumanizer, just curious, did you pick that username because of the Sabbath album of the same name?
