Pretty much because Burns kinda pissed me off in this episode, but I'm usually harsh on ranking episodes so I still consider this episode great.

As for the last episode I watched,

Papa Don't Leech - 4.5/10

Never found anything interesting about this episode. From the horrible beginning with Homer and Grampa to the hunting of Lurleen Lumpkin, this episode is really bland and uninteresting. The generous 4.5 is for the Dixie Chicks (great guest stars imo) and probably Lisa's line in the country song :L

You do know that he is supposed to be a parody of Howard Hughes right? Even if you did what bugs you about this parody? But other than that there is more than enough going on in the episode to warrant a grade higher than 7.5 especially when you compare it to other gag fests in the Mirkin era. All its plots are woven together so brilliantly, it's hilarious and has some decent character moments for Marge.

Normally I do agree with you but other than the eyes of the family being off well way too circular and large the animation looks good enough to not be too distracting unlike other season 5 episodes Homer Goes to College etc. Why does it seem most season 5 episodes have a problem with the huge eyes? Also which animator does that?

Mike Fontanelli was responsible for the influx of large eyes in the first half of season 5. The second screengrab is a scene by Mark Colangelo(If not Noah Miller).

I've always been fond of Season 14's ending. There are a bunch of great episodes! It wasn't disappointing to go through Season 14 again (almost finished, I have the three last ones before finishing the Season). I've decided to go through Seasons 3 and 17 at the same time once I'm done with 14. Out of the last three episodes in Season 14 there's only one I admire a whole lot: Moe Baby Blues.

I watched Half-Decent Proposal so I would be able to take part in those wonderful discussions in the weekly episode club. This episode does have quite a special feeling to it. Especially the ending. I've left my opinion in the Weekly Episode Club thread.
