The syndicated version of Lisa the Iconoclast. I think this might be the only episode of the classic era that is actually improved by the syndication edits: They cut a pointless exchange between Homer and Comic Book Guy, and a stupid joke about diptheria at the end of Act One that made a bad act break. A+

Treehouse of Horror XIV: it was first aired here today, and IMO, it was very good! Reaper Madness was, IMO, the best segment since Citizen Kang. Frinkeinstein wasn't as bad as I was expecting, and Stop the World was very good. Overall, I think this THOH deserves a grade of A-. Best THOH since IX.

My Big Fat Geek Wedding it gets better the more often I see it. The first time I was totally annoyed by the Homer Marge relationship, and I still am, but it takes up less of the plot than I remember. I forgot how funny it is. B

Treehouse Of Horror XIV - 4/5
Great opening sequence. Great first segment. Frinkenstein is a bit pointless and unfunny, but not a bad segment. The last one is very good, almost as good as the first one.
I liked it, but I think they should start doing the THOHs with 2 segments instead of 3. They seem shorter and shorter each year and, consequently, the stories aren't as well developed as they could be.Last edited by Robertuybrush; 09-13-2004 at 02:28 AM.
