Mother: [from downstairs] Seymour, your friend Bart is here.
    Skinner: I know, Mother!
Mother: Seymour, do you want me to tell you when it's 7:30?
    Skinner: No, Mother!

    Sweet Seymour Skinner's... 5/5

Two Dozen and One Greyhounds: 6.5/10 -- B-
It's just very dull. The ending was completely anti-climatic and it lacked any real good gags. Would have been worse were it not for "See My Vest".

    The PTA Disbands!: 7.5/10 -- B/B+
It's got a pretty thin plot that spends a lot of time almost wandering around in circles, and I don't like the ending, but it's got so many great gags. The PTA Meeting, Jasper, "Come on Edna we both know these children have no futures!" etc.

    Homie the Clown: 8.25/10 -- B+
It's very funny but doesn't offer much else.

    Secrets of a Successful Marriage: 9.5/10 -- A
Not only utterly hilarious in every way, but also a nice look into Marge and Homer's relationship; rather than just being "Homer and Marge fall out and make up again", it's an episode which explores the foundations their marriage is built on. Not quite perfect though, Homer's character was perhaps bent a tiny bit too far at times - though it was still funny.

zartok: I'm glad to see someone else likes Homer the Vigilante. I find it criminally underrated.

    the scorpion's tale- 2.5/5

forget the terrible 'twist' side effect, it's pretty boring with next to no laughs and has one of the worst 'twists' in the show i've ever seen. only thing that saves it from being a total failure is a couple laughs here and there, mostly in the first act

A field of A's there. Not a fan of Homer the Vigilante (can recall it feeling almost Scullyish at times) but I've not seen it in a long time.

    - Simpson Christmas Stories (Decent but nothing more)
    - Last Tap Dance In Springfield (I watched this episode so I could prepare myself to write my review for the Weekly episode discussion club in a couple of days)
    - Kamp Krusty (I'm starting to go through Season 4 again)

I'll probably be watching another two episodes this afternoon. We'll see...

This. And I guess 5/5 is the only logical review.

By the way, how many times has Willie been in the air conditioning system of Springfield Elementary?
Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

Moe Baby Blues - 7.75/10 A nice season finale. It was nice to see a more human side to Moe, and the ending was nice. However, I wasn't too keen on the initial premise (the flower opening), and some scenes dragged a bit.

Take My Wife Sleaze - 5.25/10 Middle of the road (no pun intended) episode for Season 11, that started off okay, improved, then deterioated, with a rather ridiculous climax.

The Great Simpsina - 5/10 Typical late Jean, but nothing awful, meaning it's probably one of Season 22's better episodes. Decent premise, but unfortunately suffered from the standard problems that plague the newer episodes.

Homer Scissorhands - 6.25/10 One of Season 22's better episodes, but nothing special. The plot and the subplot didn't really hold my attention, but there were some funny scenes, and you know it was nice that the relationship in the subplot between Milhouse and the older girl - not another 'bart gets a girlfriend' plot/subplot - however their relationship didn't really go anywhere, and kind of ended abruptly.

    The Great Simpsina: 5.5/10 -- C
Ended bad with the magicians and the peach intro was unfunny and bland. On the plus side there some good gags (Bart being thrown, not the peaches) and the extreme magic guy (I forgot his name). But the emotion felt sort of forced and out of nowhere. We get this wacky magic fight scene and then this very dignified ending with him dancing with his wife - the two didn't fit.

    Homer Scissorhands: 7/10 -- B
Nowadays every season has its "gem", and this was 22's. It was funny, all the characters were characterised well, and the plot was paced very nicely. There were cons though - too much Homer whining, and more "talents out of nowhere". Plus there was nowhere near enough spotlight on Taffy and Milhouse. What's even more annoying is that they had a long intro AND couch gag that ate up 2 minutes which they could have used to beef up the Lisa/Milhouse plot, which needed it. But, as stated, it was very enjoyable and it was nice to actually see an episode that expands on upon the characters and their relationships, in this case, Lisa and Milhouse's.

    Take My Wife Sleaze: 6/10 -- C+
I enjoyed the first half, with the 50s diner, and Homer's motercycle gang, which was mindless fun ("..but you'll never defeat the Cobras" "aren't you the Hell's Satans?" "err Oink Oink Oink!" did have me laughing quite a lot, mainly down to superb execution, other moments were funny too). But then the other cycle gang appear, and whilst I love John Goodman's voice, it could not save the second half which was stupidly over the top and virtually laughless. So first half B, second half C/C-, overall C+.
