Reality Bites
A really great S9 episode.
7.8/10

Return of the Hellfish.
I really like it. A good retrospective angle on things, some top puns, and really good Grampa. Fantastic ending with the diffident German as well. 9/10.

I'm going all the way back to the beginning!
Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire A* - I'll never get tired of this episode.
Bart The Genius A+
Faith Off
3.5/5
Great Episode by Scully's standards.
Good morning! And in case I don't see ya: Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!- - -
Much Apu About Nothing- 5/5
Burns, Baby Burns - 8.5/10
The Frying Game
If the last three minutes didn't exist then it would be a classic episode. I refuse to believe that ending and turned it off just before it went shit so my grade will be a B- (with the ending).
Top Ten:
1. Homer: Badman
2. Homer the Great
3. Mother Simpson
4. Bart Sells His Soul
5. Last Exit to Springfield
6. Who Shot Mr. Burns (part one and two)
7. Rosebud
8. Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield
9. El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer
10. Homer's Enemy
Homer Vs Dignity came on TV today here, so thats the last one. Meh.
'Fear of Flying'- C+
Still as bad as I remember it. A weak plot filled with weak humor.
Weak humour....It might just be the funniest ep of Season 6..
Funniest of season 6? Funnier than such gag fests as 'Homer Badman', 'Homie the Clown', 'Sideshow Bob Roberts', and 'Itchy and Scratchy Land'? More jokes fall flat than any episode in the classic era save 'A Star is Burns'.
I think A Star is Burns might not be the funniest, but it sure has the best humour. Actually, it might just be the funniest.
Homer Badman is one of my favourite episodes of all time. HtC and IaSL are both almost as good as well. SBR? nuh-uh.
A Star is Burns has probably the funniest scene, ever. It's a great episode.
I'm not going to babble on here, but Fear of Flying is awfully underrated.
I wish I knew why everyone despises it. I love it. It's so funny. The scenes with Marge cooking and baking and fixing the roof at 3am were just so hilarious. And when it turns out she's not actually sitting on the couch..
I despise it because it has weak pacing and is a bit disjointed. The first act is a nonstop ride of laughs that provides some excellent gags. The second and third acts have considerably slower pacing, as it takes far too much time to develop and resolve the conflict than it should. Marge has a fear of flying; she goes to get it fixed. Simple as that. However, the episode spends so much time working through such a simple premise that the episode grows tiresome. And in light of the episode's working gags, there are several that just fall flat. The psychiatrist's writing 'Husband' on her notepad after stating that she is not going to blame anyone is terribly predictable, the 'Lost in Space' parody is stupid, Marge's rambling on about England isn't funny, etc. Oh yes, and some parts of the episode make no sense. Marge apparently remains sane while contributing to the 'everyone has a fear of something' jokes, but only after that goes insane, whereas all reason dictates that she went crazy after the plane experience. And I don't even think her going crazy has any basis in reason either.
And don't even get me started with 'A Star is Burns'...
Last Exit to Springfield- A
Even though this episode is popular, I never really remembered it and only have seen it once (while I was sick, so my impression of it was sub-par), but I saw it again today and I can see why people think it's the best episode ever. Great plot and humor.
Krusty gets Kancelled- A
I can't get enough of Gabbo. He's hilarious. A really, really funny episode.
"Alright, alright, if it will make you happy, I'll overthrow society."

The first two segments were well-done and very amusing, while the third was a bit off, but still funny. I also liked the setup of the Halloween party. A nice episode.

Among the Best of Season 18. Very Funny.
Me too. Good show. 4/5 from me.Originally Posted by Bumblebee_Man
Cat Lady and Disco Stu were highlights.
Homer Simpson, This is your Wife: Really not as bad as I was expecting, I enjoyed it, it was funny, but it just didn't feel like The Simpsons, Gervais specialises in cringe-worthy long pauses and I love him for it but Simpsons is usually too fast-paced for that kind of humour. B
The Seven Beer Snitch: Twas alright, not offensive but they could have done so much more with it. It was a just a bunch of dull stuff that happened. C
Homer The Great, one of the greatest episodes in the classic era. 9/10
I'd give you some great moments from this episode but "It's a secret"![]()
Marge Be Not Proud - 5/5, solid A+, my favourite episode ever. I actually forgot how funny and how touching it was, but rewatching it reinforced my love for it - I could never get tired of this one.
Homer's Triple Bypass
5/5 damn perfect. So many gags.
Wiggum "Suspect is hatless, repeat, hatless!" Homer "I can't wait until they throw his hatless butt in jail."
Hans Moleman crashing the birthplace of Edgar Allen Poe.
The heart attack scene in Burns's office.
Bart: "Dad there's a bug on that." Homer: "Meh"
You're a dull boy Billy.
Homer: "Remember your Hippopotamus oath."
Wiggum's locked jaw.
Bed goes up, bed goes down.
Baby homer eating pizza.
"Now I know I haven't been the best Jew..."
We're going to cut you open and tinker with your ticker.
Only The Simpsons could have a storyline this serious and have it be one of their funniest episodes. In my top five for sure.
