I, D'oh-bot (B)
Just noticed Jessica Lovejoy made a short appearance in this episode. Probably decided to change the color of her wardrobe.

The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson (A)
Wow, I hadn't seen that in a long time, and I had forgotten how much I like that episode.
On DVD-
Bart the Genius: B
Homer's Odyssey: B
On TV-
Trilogy of Error: A-
that makes me stupid, and you a whore

The Fat and the Furriest - too many stupid jokes and too short a storyline (this is emphasized by the time-wasting jokes, especially the 5 consecutive gun cocks) to really be considered a good episode, but it was more watchable last night than it had been any other time I saw it. I liked Homer's "Project Grizzly"-type uniform and the "Reserved for DVDs" section at the dump, though there were too many dead animals for my liking (I didn't like all the animals in the lake dying either). I'll bump my grade from 2/5 to 3/5.
Bart: "Please don't call our parents!"
Chief: "I'm afraid I have to for hijinks like these. Hijinks - it's a funny word. Three dotted letters in a row."
Eddie: "Is it hyphenated?"
Chief: "It used to be, back in the good old days, you know. Of course, every generation hyphenates the way it wants to. Then there's *NSYNC! What the hell is that? Jump in any time there, Eddie, these are good topics."

We live in a society of rules. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn't hear anybody laughing! Did you?! Except at that guy who made sound effects. Brrruuummm!, zhoo-zhoo!, rrraaassspppp!, honk!, honk!, pkeeerrrrgghhh!, ahoo-hoo, he-he, hoo-hoo. Where was I? Oh yeah... Stay out of my booze!

Homerpalooza (A-)
Forgot about this episode. One of the best multiple-guest star eps ever (second to Krusty Gets Kancelled but superior to How I Spent My Summer Vacation). Every guest star is hilarious, especially Peter Frampton.
Favorite line:
Burns: "Smithers, you laughed when I bought TicketMaster. 'No one will pay a 100% service charge,' you said."
Smithers: "I guess I was wrong. This does bring out a great mix of the rich and ignorant."
138th Show Spectacular (B+)
Though I didn't particularly enjoy some of the old shorts, the deleted scenes and Troy McClure intros were great.
Favorite line:
Announcer: "Which popular Simpsons characters have died in the past year? If you said Bleeding Gums Murphy and Dr. Marvin Monroe, you are wrong. They were never popular."
On TV:
We're on the Road to D'ohwhere (B-)
Humorous, but typical of this season.
Favorite line:
Homer: "Don't forget to wash your hands, Bart. Hahaha!"
The Old Man and the Lisa (A-)
Another great episode. Mr. Burns chasing Lisa is a classic scene.
Favorite line:
Bret Hart: "Eww. This place's got old man stink."
Burns: "Oooh."
Smithers: "Don't listen to him, sir. You've got an enchanting musk."
In Marge We Trust (A-)
I love when episodes focus on Marge and Rev. Lovejoy. And for once the subplot is every bit as good as the main storyline.
Favorite line:
Lovejoy: "Baboons to the left of me, baboons to the right...a third came screaming at me--and that's when I got mad."
Spin-Off Showcase (C+)
Not as funny as I remember. The "Wiggum, P.I." segment is great though.
Favorite line:
Troy McClure: "Fox presented a simple task: 35 spin-offs to fill holes in their schedule."

I can't remember seeing this episode for a LONG time.
Owner: Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse!
Homer: Oh, that's bad.
Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt!
Homer: That's good.
Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: That's bad.
Owner: But you get your choice of topping!
Homer: That's good.
Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate.
Homer:

Homer the Great - A+
Lisa on Ice - A+
Bart's Comet - A+
Fraudcast News- B+, much better than remembered.
The Way We Was A+
Lisa's Substitute A+
Cream of the emotional crop and pretty damn funny to boot.
The Mansion Family...definitely not as bad as people say. It's more of a silly episode that I don't take seriously. It has good jokes.
"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."
The Day the Violence Died - 4.25/5
Bart on the Road - 5/5
The PTA Disbands! - A-
The story isn't the best but it has a lot of episodes. I especially love the part where the guy jumps out of the window. I love that David Mirkin added this in because he thought that the PTA Disbanding was boring.
[RIGHT]
Bart's Inner Child. Quite funny.
