    R&R Krusty Gets Busted

I think it was completely rubbish, characterization wasn't too good, and the episode itself was boring and it bored me. What do you think?

    I think your an idiot.

The episode was entertaining, characterizations were good, it was funny all the way, and has surprisingly good satire for a Season 1 episode. While its been a while since I've seen it, my grade is an A-.

I also think you're an idiot.

Krusty gets Busted is a classic, but I'd say that it's the kind of episode that gets better in repeated viewings. For a Season 1 episode, it was very well done.

It's an okay start to The Sideshow Bob Saga. No classic, but it's fun to watch. 4/5

Your an idiot if your opinion is based on inaccurate information: i.e. your complaints against characterization.

Anyways, I only called you an idiot cause it was sounds good. You asked people what they thought, and since I disagreed I say I think your an idiot. It's snappy.

So, no, I don't really consider you an idiot. Yet.

To answer your question.... nothing. Characterization was great (Bob was evil, Bart and Lisa were loyal to Krusty), how was that different from any other Sideshow Bob episode? But I digress. Krusty Gets Busted was season 1's best episode. It was funny, entertaining, and well-written. Not quite a classic, but close. A-. (4/5)

I thought it was a great penultimate episode of Season One, and I didn't spot any characterization problems. Maybe it's lacking on the humor front, but that is more than made up by the compelling plot.

Great episode! A funny episode with an excellent crime solving story. How could the characterization be off? This was the first episode that explored Krusty's character. There was no other episodes to compare his character to.

It was pretty good ... considering it was season one. If it aired any other season I would have killed it. But it did introduce Side-Show Bob in his first talking role, I don't count when he blew a whistle and he had an afro. so I give it a 4/5. I did watch it a few times actually.

Well, Bob swings into the Simpsons in this episode for the first time, and it starts on a very high note. We're introduced to Sideshow Bob, and now fully Krusty. Bob is portrayed as a psychopath (he even has mad hair!) who seems innocent on the outside, but is evil - perfect characterisation. Bart, Lisa and Homer are very well characterised too - Homer being a coward, and his G-I-L-L-T-Y thing showed some mild stupidity - plenty of other hilarious stuff too. Bart and Lisa do their first super sleuth stuff too, which marked future episodes. All characters showed good signs of the future - even Wiggum ("We made a terrible, terrible...mistake..."). Overall, a very good episode, animation and voices not too bad either. A-

This is one of my favorite episodes in season one. It is about one of my favorite characters, Sideshow Bob. It was pretty funny. Not as funny as Cape Feare, but still very good. I loved when Sisdeshow Bob started to talk. I love his voice!

Another A-. I thought episode used the characters well, and set the stage for Sideshow Bob's greatness.

A highlight of season 1. Terrific story, the first flowering of Sideshow Bob, some very funny moments, the only (I think!) directorial credit of Brad Bird.......what's not to like? 4.5/5.

They did a good job of utilizing the guest stars rather than making them useless cameos. 5+/5

One of the best of season one, and the episode that really cemented the familiar style of the Simpsons. It was kind of like a late season two episode in that respect. It wasn't that exciting, and was kind of slow at the beginning, but it had some very good satire, the first really strong piece in the show, and it introduces Sideshow Bob, one of my favorite characters, so that's a big plus. 4/5
