[00:29] AlonsoWDC: hank hill would cum out of his mouth in disgust if he were here right now

Ok episode. I just realized how I find it funnier the more I watch it. The first 15 minuites of the episode are probably the funniest. And they cut out the lyric "even though they killed my lord" and replaced it with "I don't think they killed my lord". Very lame. But funny if you know what the original lyric was, it's the exact opposite...

Awwww thanks a lot Psyche!
Not the best ep of all time, but not the worst. Song was awesome, only Seth and Co. could make "When You Wish Upon a Star" funny again for the first time. Cloud bit was unexpected and hilarious, along with Peter talking to the salesman. Not just good, not quite awesome... it's Awe-ood.
I give it a 3 on a range on -1 to 4.
4/5
Great gags with Luke Skywalker, Ben Stein and others...

Lots of funny scenes... a very good FG episode. Not the BEST episode ever, and the Jewish stereotypes were kept in check. Odd song edit, though... interesting how CN got Peter to say the opposite of what he meant.
Still, a very funny episode with LOTS of great laughoutloud moments, and the cameos by Mark Hamill (as Luke, even!) and Ed McMahon, as well as Ben Stein's voice turn as the rabbi, were awesome.
Hamill I beleive also did the voice of Obi-Wan as well
Man .. I wish I saw this thread earlier. I didn't know it was airing tonight.
Oh well, it's a favorite of mine. Maybe because I always felt like I wasn't suppose to be watching it on Kazaa because it was "forbidden." The episode should have aired on FOX .. it's ridiculous that it never did. I'm part Jewish and I did not find it offensive at all. I don't see how any open minded person would.
The episode has some great moments such as Peter's song and Ben Stein's appearance. I give it a 4.5/5.
i loved family guy as a series so much. i must be missing something though. i still consider this the poorest episode of family guy ever. did it have a couple of great references, of course it did. of course every family guy episode has those. this episode though seemed so forced it lost so much of its humor. they went for the easy jokes, i as most people still dont see what was "controversial" about it. i have seen it several times and i got to give it a 1/5. i try to like it people, just doesnt seem to happen.
7/10
While I certainly disagree that it's the worst FG episode (Kiss Seen Round the World and There's Something About Paulie are better examples), it definitely doesn't feel like a good FG episode. It does have some great moments (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Optimus Prime, Luke's laser eye surgery).

The line "Optimus Prime is jewish" made this ep a guaranteed 3/5.
The other various cameos bumped it up to a 4.5/5.
When it comes to livin', dying is the easy part.
I had nothing to do last night around 11, so I decided "what the heck, I'll check out that 'banned' Family Guy tonight." Boy was that a waste of my time. I don't see why it was so controversial unless the controversy was that it wasn't funny. Usually Family Guy at least has one or two jokes you may find amusing (the first time around) but this episode didn't. In addition it was so mind-numbingly boring. I stopped paying full attention to this episode during the cringe worthy song, Peter was singing. Overall I give it a F+. Now after having seen every Family Guy episode, I have to say that in my opinion Family Guy is terribly overrated.

It was good. I saw it back in February on DVD, but I watched it earlier so I could review it. B+
I thought this was a fantastic episode, I found Chris hilarious and the song was classic. I didn't find it THAT offensive as it is deemed to be, I actually found 'Holy Crap' more offensive. But who am I to complain? 5/5, anyhow.
3/5, average stuff. Tony Robins and Idiana Jones were friggin' hilarious.
A, 5/5....One of the best! ''I too have an uncle'' '' Touche sellsman''....... , the Luk skywalker part...Volcanoe stuff etc, the song! Perfect.![]()
Gave it a 3/5. All my friends made this out to be something so great that I would be a fool not to download it (before the DVD was released). When I DID see it on DVD, I didn't find it to be any different than the other episodes. I didn't see anything so special that I could not live without it. It was decent. Had some great jokes. I found that small edit on CN to be slightly odd, but eh. My friends hyped this episode up too much.
It's better than all the new simpsons episodes anyway 8-)
WOW! I can't believe he said that!

Tony Robbins swallowing Peter was the funniest thing in that episode.

Better than your typical episode, but still not particularly memorable. 3.5/5
I must have missed a lot. I missed it. But then again I always miss Family Guy. Ill just buy the DVDs sometime.Originally posted by kuumuus

Did anyone catch the "In an attic somewhere there's a portrait of you getting prettier" joke? Very high-brow.
Yes! Family Guy usually offered more intelligent humor than the Mike Scully years of The Simpsons, despite all the naysayers saying how low-brow it was.Originally posted by JMS

Anyway, I gave this episode a 4/5. I was expecting to be let down, and Optimus Prime came along and proved me wrong.
i gave it a 3/5. my expectations were too high, there were edits, and i probably just need to see it again. good episode. family guy rules everyone.
Hysterical. I especcially liked Tony Robbins, the song, and Optimus Prime. I'd say 4/5
What edits were made aside from the "killed my lord" lyric?
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

I'm pretty sure that the "Even though the killed my lord" lyric was the only thing that was changed.
I liked the episode but I think it wasn't really great, but just went on the hype of the "banned" episode...
Who the fuck gave this episode a 1/5? ;-/
That's just fricking unbelievable.
3/5. There are some great laughs (Optimus Prime, Ben Stein, the Seinfeld gag) that keep it moving, but I fail to see what all the fuss is about otherwise. If it had aired normally, I probably wouldn't have thought much of it. Still, a worthwhile episode.
