One of the top 30 ever, IMO. Not the best of S6, but then again S6 was blindingly brilliant. 5/5, no question.

    I think it's lunchtime.

It's very good, it's very good. A nice balance of humor for even the most stony-faced viewer to laugh at. You're unlikely to find any satire in it, but you will enjoy it.

I think It's a little overrated but still great. 8/10
I prefer "Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington" as a vacation episode.

If you want tense morals/messages or believable characters you can relate to, look elsewhere. This episode is great for one thing: flat-out entertainment. 8/10

5/5 The best vacation episode ever.

"It's time for to bend over and recieve my destiny"
"Show 'em what American butts are made of, son"

Also, Tobias' voice is very funny.

I was looking forward to seeing the Simpsons come to Australia but I did not really like this episode very much. It made us out to be all just dumb arse criminals. Perhaps they should have used a little reality rather than every stupid sterotype available. Sure it had some funny parts in it but this has to be one of my least favorite episodes.
Peter Griffin: "The grown up in me likes the prospect of fun,
but the kid in me is suicidal over what a fat bastard I will become."

Sideshow Bob: "Just the thought of all that raw, surging power
makes me wonder why the hell I should care!"

Yeah they did overload the stereotypes and very little reality was used but It was still enjoyable for me 9/10.

Us Kiwis knew about the overloaded stereotypes too and things like that but still a very good episode, which most people would enjoy .

    4/5

    Grade: B+

Not brilliant by any means, but it's at least fun as a wacky adventure (though "Itchy and Scratchy Land" remains my favorite of the wacky vacation episodes). This has something other vacation episodes like "Kill the Alligator and Run" and "Simpson Safari" lack, a nice use of all the characters, particularly Bart at the end with him humming "Stars and Stripes Forever" while showcasing his butt to the Aussies. And the story itself, while silly, is at least memorable for the absurd Aussie steoreotypes and the whole booting plotline. Just fun.

I think its funny over the top but also kind of irritating because I am Aussie. I know its meant to make us look dumb, Pity they couldn't include Steve Irwin at the time that would be too easy for them.
Moe: What are you telling us, were trapped like rats?

Russ Cargill: No, rats can't be trapped this easily, you're trapped like... carrots.

    Aussies-

It's just a cartoon. There's no reason to be insulted, no-one thinks that you have naked prime ministers and whatever!

Not everyone in Australia drinks bloody Foster's! VB is very popular.
Anyway, I loved the stereotypical point-of-view that the Americans have of us. We need to have a laugh at ourselves.
As a matter of fact, the episode is showing in a few days!
