    season one's best episode pt. 1/2

    sorry i forgot to put in the poll

    Since everyone has been trying to figure the best episode out of all 12 complete seasons. ive decided to make this poll. In this poll there will be the first 6 episode to choose from. Next week, i'll make another poll with the remaining 7 episodes of season 1. In those polls, the top 3 from each poll with the most votes will go into another poll 2 wks from now. The episode with the most votes will be season 1's best episode. Then every week, or maybe every other day it depends, i'll make polls season by season like im doing with this one. & in the end, the best episode can be decided, well sort of.

    Either "Bart the General" or "Moaning Lisa" from this half, even though those don't rank extremely high if you count the rest. I chose "Moaning Lisa" for it's frank emotion and "Bart the General" for classic military jokes and parodies.

    I chose Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire because it was the first episode I saw and I loved it

    Season One

    I'd have to choose "Moaning Lisa" as the best episode, because as far as writing goes, it is. "Bart the General" would be the funniest, followed by "Bart the Genius" and "There's No Disgrace Like Home"

    I voted "There's no disgrace like home." The options were really hard to choose from, but the last three are my faves. When it came down to it, "There's no disgrace like home" was the first episode I ever saw, so I had to go with that.

    Moaning Lisa had brilliant writing and it is the best "Lisa episode" to date in my opinion.

    Bart the General has got to be one of the all time best. Moaning Lisa and Krusty Gets Busted were also good for the season.

    I liked Simpsons Roasting on an open fire. I liked it because it was a real nice introduction to the show and it was funny, and a great story line (remember those?)

    the next poll might be in tomorrow or thursday. maybe tonight since the poll is doing better than i though it would. the next poll will feature the rest of season one. then the top 3 of each poll will go into another poll, where the top 3 of those episodes in that poll is declared season one's best episode. then i'll do the same for the rest of the season & then have a poll with all of the season's best episodes that will declare the best episode

    i think its clear that the top 3 from this poll that will then go into the semi-finals poll will bee:
    Bart the Genius (got my vote)
    Bart the General
    Moaning Lisa

    The voting ends friday and the semi-finals start. That ends sunday & the final top 3 along with the best season one episode will be determined. Season 2 polls start this friday with 3 polls. each poll has 7-8 episodes each since theres 22 episodes in season 2. It'll be the same process as the season 1 poll

    Hmmmm...tought decision between "Bart The General" and "Moaning Lisa". But I voted for "Moaning Lisa" because I enjoyed it a tad more. Although it isnt my favourite episode in the season.
