Well, it was actually Groening. He said that after the seventh season or so they might run out of things to say. But as long as they do infact have things to say around that point, I don't see any real reason why they wouldn't stay the course. Groening's comments should be taken with a grain of salt.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

I can't see why they'd run out of things to talk about when it's supposed to be the episodes they're commenting on! As long as there's an episode to commentate, there's always something.

Right. Each episode should have a story or two to go with it, plus they usually talk about random other things too.

If anything they should have more to say because they'll probably (If they get to releasing 2 a year) be slightly less of a gap between writing and recording commenatry.

and Some eps I really cant wait for the commentary like A Star is Burns and Princpal and the pauper.

Personally, I can't wait for the commentary for "So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show". I'd like to hear what they have to say about producing a clip show; what clips are chosen and for what reason, etc,. I'd also lke to hear the commentary for "Marge Vs. The Monorail", because Conan O'Brien reportedly appeared on that one (although I'm not sure if he appears on the commentary for his other episode, "New Kid on the Block"). Jon Lovitz appears on some, too, probably "A Streetcar Named Marge" (one he guest-starred in) to name one. That'll be great, seeing as how we missed out on him on the Critic commentaries (although Maurice LaMarche does a great impression of him).

Yes for sure, the commontaries should be the best yet with Conan and Lovitz

I doubt its as good as his Mike Reiss (You'll see when you listen to the commentary for the sting on the futurama DVD)

Does anyone know when this will come out in the UK yet?
Forget that question, I just found out by looking earlier in the thread.

Glad to hear from the BBFC that Fox and Gracie Films are delivering the goods on the extras for my favorite season.

I'll find out in August, when the R1 version of Season 4 comes out. If I might ask though (sorry, this is a bit off-topic), why is he doing an impression of Mike Reiss in the first place?

I'm glad the UK has a confirmed release date now - every other site seems to have it too - as well as Amazon, so it looks pretty certain. Pre-ordered too to save £10! Roll on August

R1 is June.. R2 is August.

I believe that Gorky was refering to Futurama Season 4 coming out in August, because Homer Thompson mentioned something about 'The Sting' commentary

Well because he gets brought up in a story Patric verrone tells, anyway ask at peel if you want to know exactly what and why.

    sell an episode?

I am looking to buy a copy of fourth season episode "Last Exit to Springfield." I need to get it before the DVD release on June 15. See, my dad is a dentist, and he loves this episode. I want to get it to him for his birthday.

Anyone have a copy of this episode on VHS? (Last Exit to Springfield 9F15) It hasn't been officially released, but a copy taped off TV would do just fine.

I suggest you start a new thread on that, Safadez.

    Pre-ordered the R1 set Monday.. woo-hoo.

HT, try www.playusa.com, free shipping and based in Jersey. Your stuff will be sent via Belgium though - and you'll have to pay about £8 customs charges . However, odds are you'll get it by the release date as they ship before it's released. It's where I order R1's from always.

Am I the only one here who's willing to wait until it comes out in Britain? Patience is virtue, my friends!

Evidently, yes. Perhaps, but as there's no logical reason as to why we should wait, I won't bother.

Ah, true. I can see no reason, 'cos there are no reasons. What reasons do I need to be shown?

I'm waiting too, it's only an extra 2 months.

Could this mean it will be realeased this year?

One thing I wish the Simpsons DVDs would do...-> I own the Twilight Zone collection and each disc has 4 episodes...you can put a disc on and hit play and it will play all 4 in sequence like a movie so you don't go back to the menus and have select the next episode...it's very nice when you are falling asleep in bed..( I watch DVDs to go to sleep)...

I wish the SImpsons would acquir this feature....

    other than that...deleted scenes...

    discuss,... (and maybe sticky? )
In the Netherlands we already have a view all function on all the Seasons

Anyway, for the dutch minority here:

Season 4 will be realeased in the netherlands on 04-08-2004, as you can see at the VanLeest site

Though I would sincierly advice NOT to buy it there. Its according to that information 65 euro,(even more than at the release of Season 3), an they also sell Season 2 for 75 Euro, what proves they are verry expensive.

I'm Going to wait on 2nd thoughts, I don't think I can anyway, looks like from the site you need the Master Card logo on the Card your ordering with, Which I don't have. and I don't like trusting websites to deliver things.
