Well...i started the Season 3 so I figured I might keep up the tradition since Amazon.com announced they will carry it...

this will be an awesome season to own along with 6...(later thread)...

One thing I wish the Simpsons DVDs would do...-> I own the Twilight Zone collection and each disc has 4 episodes...you can put a disc on and hit play and it will play all 4 in sequence like a movie so you don't go back to the menus and have select the next episode...it's very nice when you are falling asleep in bed..( I watch DVDs to go to sleep)...

I wish the SImpsons would acquir this feature....

other than that...deleted scenes...

The release dates for The Simpsons DVD sets are terrible... but I have a feeling this time will be spent wisely in the creating some amazing features this time around.

Instead of screwing around, playing pocket pool and lighting things on fire like the crew spent the months they were supposed to be working on season 3?

I want the play all feature too. Like with the Monty Python set. How hard could it be to add? Some would say it's a minor inconvenience, but rest assured it is magnified several times by a mental condition that I have.

The only animated series who has a "Play All" feature is Family Guy. I too wish it is on the Simpsons. Nothing like falling asleep to endless episodes of Family Guy...

South Park Season 1 also plays them through back to back.

i think season 4 will be a great dvd and it will come out about late june 2004 they take about 11 months to come out

Yes, I also like the feature where all the episodes will continue one after the other. It's on the Malcolm in the Middle DVD, and it was much easier when I just wanted to watch every episode one after the other.

Apparently Season Three of Futurama will have a "play all" feature, so it's possible that Season Three of The Simpsons may have this too, or if not, surely Season Four.

A 'Play All' option is a great idea. Wait, scratch that - it's an almost necessary idea. I get the feeling it'll come along soon enough, though.

Play All would rule so much, I can't fall asleep during a 20 minute episode, and I HAVE to have noise to fall asleep, I guess we can only keep our fingers crossed.

I hope all subsequent DVD releases have commentary for all episodes. They're the best feature.

Yeah, I got the first two season sets the day they came out. Hopefully I will with the next two seasons as well..
