So Milhouse got a new favorite episode...

Thats right, anyone who has read my siganture probubly knows "30 Minuets over Tokyo" is/was my favorite episode but it is no longer! My new favorite episode is: "Lisa's Date With Density" I don't know what changed my mind but I just recently took an extreme liking to it.

"Lisa's Date with Density" is definitely better than "Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo," but I still don't find either of them to be totally stand-out episodes from the entire series.

being a terrestrial viewer and a i have a probable 'poor' simpson knowledge of episode titles, i don't know 'lisa's date with destiny' but i have to say the tokyo episode was utterly terrible.

i think '30 minutes Over Tokyo' is very overrated, but not terrible.

Much better than "30 minutes" plus the Milhouse scenes in that are classic, I think it's a great episode 5/5.

Good for you, I thought Lisa's Date With Density and 30 Minutes Over Tokyo were kick-ass episodes myself.

Well finally someone here appriciates Lisa's Date as much as I do. Currently, on my draft list, it comes in at #6.
There are so many hilarious moments on that episode.

And the Tokyo ep is incredibly overated.

Go watch LETS and tell me it isn't the best episode ever.

I actually think Lemon of Troy is the best Simpsons episode, but that may be beacuse I'm a huge Milhouse fan.

Thats what I was gonna say. In fact, I think 30 Mins is a shocker.
My fave is 'The Summer Of 4ft 2' closely followed by 'Last Exit To Springfield.

"Lisa's Date with Density" and "Homer's Enemy" are the best episodes of season 8.

It's not the best episode ever, tee hee hee.

the Tokyo one has a couple of astute satirical moments, but on the whole it's an unpleasant episode (Godzilla holding the plane, Homer defecating on the camera, the family having seizures, Homer beating up the Emperor, the whole ridiculous game show thing - all nasty stuff typical of that era).

your parents must be very proud

but both off those eps were very good. 30 minutes was one of the bright spots of S10 IMO
