4/5, great episode.
8/10
Pretty good episode and a nice take on the rock festivals of the early 90s. I enjoyed this episode mostly because it guest stars a band whose roots come from the Windy City; the Smashing Pumpkins.
4/5. Packed with great cleb guests in a situation that suited them perfectly, not something retarded like when Britney Spears was on.
I loved Homer in the rasta hat.
Great episode. A good highlight of Season Seven with great guest stars and lots of laughs. 4/5.
2/5. It's nothing special. In fact, it's a bit of a bore.

That's pretty much what I was going to say. Thanks.Originally posted by Milhouse Vanhouten
4.5/5, especialy loved seeing the animated smashing pumpkins.
3/5. I used to like it but now find it quite dull.

Worst episode from the season.

4/5
3/5. It was ok

excellent, but there were better season 7 episodes
I liked the ending when Homer and Marge are in the car trying to find out how to be cool... I found that hilarious.
4/5 , but I find they play this one too often where I live.

Hmm. A Homer's new job episode full of guest stars. I personally think it worked out well. It's much better than other Homers of the same genre, like How I Spent My Strummer Vacation, or Hello Gudder, Hello Fadder. I give it a 4.5/5.

not one of the better ones from Season 7, but it was a nice satire on rock festivals and rock'n'roll. The problem is that I never really cared for Homer and his near death experience because the episode wasn't really the emotional type. B-
How was it a bore, exactly?Originally posted by George Cauldron

Not bad. But i'd rather watch a darts match. 3/5

The idea for the story is not bad and provides some funny moments.
But not funny or entertaining the whole time and some parts are pretty meaningless.
3.5/5
I loved it when I first saw it but now it's just merely decent.

4/5 good episode but it's among the worst of Season 7.
Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?
-- Homer's parable of the guy in the blue car, ``Homer the Heretic''
Ralph: I Won! I Won!
Principal Skinner: No Ralph this means you're failing English
Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Brilliant first act, but very poor (especially for the standards at that time) after that. C+
"Evolution is silly," AJ adds. "Monkeys? Um, no."

This was never one of my favorites. I'm not usually one to nitpick about guest stars, but the voice work in this episode was painful. Very stale and awkward in delivery. I think that that is what brought the quality down a bit.
3/5
Dramatization: May not have happened.
5/5
I don't know why but I love this episode including all the obsolete references to the music (a kind of music I don't like) because all these are really charming.
By the way, I don't understand why in the Dvd com' the creators hate the rover hendrix gag.
