Funny episode, but like Chris P. said, this episode acted as a "building block" for the stupidity of seasons 10-12. At least this episode does a great job of mocking the advantages and disadvantages of being disabled.
5/5. Wacky, silly, but brilliant. Nothing wrong with silliness as long as it's handled well, as this episode was.
5/5, one of the funniest episodes ever, the best of Season 7 with " 22 Short Films About Springfield"

BRILLIANT! 5/5

4/5. Its a brilliant episode. Everything in it was excellent.

great episode. 4.5/5

What would seem like a silly plot works out beautiful. 5/5, one of the best ones ever.

4/5, it's a brilliant episode, really.
4/5 it was great!
as episodes whose entire comic strength is taken from Homer being an idiot go, this is excellent. Hi-larious. B+

I have stated for years that this is THE best episode ever.
I'm glad to see that everyone has rated it highly.
After seeing it at least 10 times it always cracks me up, brilliantly written, it is superb!

5/5! Amazing ep. with plenty of laughs.
Homer:I don't want to look like a weirdo... I'll just go with the moo moo.
Dr. Nick: Did you go to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College too?
Mr. Burns: Push out the jive, bring in the love.
I liked this episode a lot, most of it was absolutely hilarious, 4/5.
4/5.
Just so enjoyable from start to finish. Also makes me hungry whenever i see it. 5/5 and in my top 20 fav episodes ever.
i think the story is not so important as the humor is really great in this episode.
Many hilarious gags i like a lot. For example when Homer is driving that ice cream wagon or buying his new clothes.
4/5
5/5, a true classic.
Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?
-- Homer's parable of the guy in the blue car, ``Homer the Heretic''
Ralph: I Won! I Won!
Principal Skinner: No Ralph this means you're failing English
Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Hilarious episode, with possibly the most sophisicated fat jokes ever crafted...
"The fingers you have used to dial, are too fat. If you wish to purchase a special dialing wand, please mash the keypad with your palm, now."
Genius Simpsons

Good morning! And in case I don't see ya: Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!- - -
I still to this day say "I wash myself with a rag on a stick" Definite 5/5

Backdoor Sluts 9 makes Crotch Capers 3 look like Naughty Nurses 2
It's one of my favorites! 5/5
You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
Everything happens for a reason.
Just be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
Don't worry about the world ending today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
Maybe a tad overrated, but it's just so funny! For laughs alone, it deserves a 5/5.
