    Bond parodies on The Simpsons

I was just thinking about how many times the show has parodied James Bond. I have a little list of the ones I have noticed:

YOU ONLY MOVE TWICE: Entire episode is a parody of James Bond.

ITCHY AND SCRATCHY: THE MOVIE: Bart (as Blofeld) places a James Bond action figure in the microwave, bids him farewell and melts him.

THE SECRET WAR OF LISA SIMPSON: Bart fires his launcher and appears to miss the target. The instructor: "You missed." Bart replies:"Did I?" and the camera pans over to show Skinners car in ruins. This is a parody of a scene in Moonraker.

BART CARNY: Cooter tries on some of Homers clothing. Spud is so impressed he says: "Gee Dad, you look just like James Bond".

Treehouse of Horror IX: Marge:"If your fly was up you`d look just like Roger Moore".

GIRLY EDITION: . Bart swivels around in his chair like Blofeld. Lisa tries to speak. Bart: "So, we meet again Mr. Bond". Lisa tries to get him to get serious. Bart: "Silence, Octopussy!"

THE SIMPSONS 138th EPISODE SPECTACULAR: Bond and Blofeld in the casino outtake.

LIKE FATHER LIKE CLOWN: Krusty`s secretary is named Lois Pennycandy (007's Miss Moneypenny was played by Lois Maxwell). Krusty walks by a porn theater playing "For Your Thighs Only".

BART THE FINK / KAMP KRUSTY: Krusty has three nipples like Scaramanga in The Man With The Golden Gun

HOMER DEFINED: Homer saves the nuclear plant from meltdown with 007 seconds left, as in Goldfinger.

22 SHORT FILMS ABOUT SPRINGFIELD: the comic book guy has a photo of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore.

Im sure theres more, has anyone spotted any?

O Brother Where Art Thou: The McBain movie is a spoof of the ending of Bond movies (McBain kissing the girl, the end credits with title song and "McBain will be back" credit).

Also in the 138th Episode Spectacular are Jaws (from The Spy Who Loved Me & Moonraker), along with Oddjob (Goldfinger).

in WHEN FLANDERS FAILED, Burns strokes a white cat, much like Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

in CAPE FEARE, the Itchy and Scratchy cartoon "Spay Anything" has Scratchy tied to a laser-bound table, similar to Goldfinger from 1964.

in AND MAGGIE MAKES THREE and THE SPRINGFIELD CONNECTION, the couch gag has Homer walking onscreen through the barrel of a gun.

in LISA'S WEDDING, Homer believes the best thing about the British is 1983's Octopussy. He must have seen that film......twice.

in THE JOY OF SECT, when Marge escapes the Movementarian camp, she runs over a row of crocodiles' backs, much like Roger Moore did in 1973's Live and Let Die

BART THE MOTHER - Nelson calls Bart an "octowussy" when he refuses to shoot a bird.

IT'S A MAD MAD MAD MAD MARGE, when Homer assembles a straw to suck into the wedding cake, a similar tune to the Bond theme plays.

HOMER VS. DIGNITY - The comic Homer eats is coded 007, I think

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XII, The house is voiced by current Bond Pierce Brosnan, and Marge enquires whether Bond is George Lazenby, who played him in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, back in 1969.

in 'The Simpsons Spin-off Showcase, Big Daddy runs in switches his chair around and then switches his chair around again like Blofeld

Also, if you want basically all Bond parodies, i suggest you go to snpp.com and use their search

the chair swirl around is a little broad, as Blofeld was not the only one to do that. It is like saying when Sideshow Bob steals an atomic bomb and threatens to blow everyone up, that it would be a parody of Thunderbal... although it was done plenty more times.

I guess I'll point out some smaller things in You Only Move Twice

YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE: same as Blofeld's volcano layer... same when people start dropping through the top.

GOLDFINGER: Everything knows well of the laser scene.

GOLDENEYE: Secretary kills soldier with legs, like Xenia in Golden Eye.
    I'm back.

    Duffless:

Lisa: [Frantically looks for it] Oh, oh!
Bart: Looking for something? [petting the hamster]
Lisa: What have you done with my report? [goes to look for it]
Bart: I've hidden it. To find it, you'll need to decipher a series of
    clues, each more fiendish --
    Lisa: [finds it] Got it!
    Bart: D'oh!

Also, the intro to the hellfish episode has Homer walking across the screen and shooting his gun, a la the Bond opening scene.

I'm not sure that's a Bond parody though. It's pretty much parodying most violent action films, mind you.

THE JOY OF SECT: Marge escapes by jumping across the backs of crocodiles. (Live And Let Die)

SADDLESORE GALACTICA: Bart is racing a horse and jockeys start hitting Bart like Bond in A View To A Kill.

THE FLYING HELLFISH: Grandpa fires a harpoon that latches on to Burns boat (License To Kill)

Of course, there's always the outtake from "$pringfield (Or how I Learned to stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)" Homer deals Bond a Joker, and then a "Rules for Draw and Stud Poker" card, causing him to lose.
    -See "138th episode Spectacular."

How Homer sings Max power is like a James Bond song

  23. #23

Max Power song parodies Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey. So does Scorpio's song.

it's on Going Simpsonic with the Simpsons. I believe it's lyrics are:
    Scorpio!
He'll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth.
    Beware of
    Scorpio!
His infatuation's to rule the world and his employee's health.
He'll welcome you into his lair,
like the gentlemen welcomes his guests.
With free dental care and a stock plan that helps you invest.
Oh beware of his generous pensions,
His three weeks paid vacation each year,
and on Fridays the lunchroom serves hot dogs and imported beer!
    He loves German beer.

The song is a very good parody of Goldfinger. The tune's like it, the lyrics are like it, even the voice is slightly similar.
