That's stupid, because the philosefers stone isnt something JK Rowling made up. its involved in myths and legends of some culture(I cant remember which), so to change it just because some americans might find sorcerers easier to comprehend is just beyond stupid...

No Christmas release for The Simpsons season three? Hmmm......Looks like I'll have to ask for Futurama season two. Why should I have to wait for The Simpsons and watch The Simpsons Jr (Futurama) instead?!

New scoop...Don Del Grande claims at Alt.tv.simpsons that he recently met Mike Reiss prior to a speech/questionare he gave at a univerisity, and apparently they've just started recording the season 3 commentaries, so, according to Reiss, "don't expect it until late 2003". Reiss could be joking, of course, as he often has spoken what the fans are thinking lately (in the speech thing he apparently said "Homer vs. Dignity" was his least favorite episode because of the panda rape scene) but if there's any truth to the expected release date (and with Fox's blundering on the last two, I wouldn't be suprised) then we're in for a bit of a wait....

The boys at Home Theater Forum held a live chat with Fox Home Entertainment spokesperson Peter Staddon. Here's what he said about the impending release of the season 3 dvd.
"Simpsons does take a long time to develop, but you have to realise that matt and jim are very involved in the productions and they don't have a lot of free time with getting the show out. Season 3 will probably be in May 2003! I know, we would like to get it out earlier as well, but it is shaping up to have some really cool material on it."
He also said to expect a Futurama season 1 release in the U.S. sometime during the first half of 2003.

How long does it take to make a DVD? Just smack the episodes on the DVD, add MG's commentary, add the special features, and boom youre done.
