Okay, so I haven't been on this forum for a LONG time (actually 1-2 months, but still), and that's mainly because I've been busy. I've been doing other things (hanging out with friends, family members, etc), and recently I've been looking for jobs in my area. I may be able to get a job sometime soon.

Another thing that has been keeping me offline is sorta personal, but I'll explain anyway. My parents have been going through a legal separation/divorce, and these past couple of months have been so stressful for me because of that. So now my mom has moved out, but I still live with my dad.

So I don't really have much to say. Don't know if anybody actually reads these blog posts anyway, but this is just a mini-update from me explaining my absence and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be on more often than I have been.

    Sometimes you need time away from the overly connected world of social media to relax a little. I took a break from Facebook recently because of a breakup, and it felt great not being informed or even wondering what the ex was up to. Now I've returned to it and I'm just subjecting myself to the heavy heart rhythms of seeing her on my newsfeed all over again. So it probably was too soon. Anyway, I hope things are starting to become a little easier and you've been seeing the beauty of everyday life without the Internet. It's quite nice.

    Thanks. I agree, everybody needs to spend time away from a social network sometime or another. Whether it's NHC or Facebook or whatever. In the past I've still been online. I just wasn't talking to many people on here. But I hope some people will want to chat on here again.
