You may not have seen me before. Well, you most certainly have not seen me before. Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am a Simpsons fan. I have been watching Simpsons since I was young, and did not begin to understand the jokes until the age of 13. Even then, I was not able to understand them fully, to their full extent. But my understanding has grown over the years.
I'm one of the many new-Simpsons sceptics. I have found that watching an episode after season 15 causes me to regurgitate. (This is post-2006, by the way). My least favourite episode is the episode where the Simpsons go to Israel. The tour commentator was frankly the most obnoxious ass I have ever listen to. Borat, you've served us well over the years. You just suck at voice acting. So, do us a favour - stay well away from Al Jean. He'll find more and more crap for you to play, and we don't want that.
Basically, the tour operator made the episode impossible to watch. I felt a surge of guilty pleasure when I pressed the mute button. It was like being liberated from a dark, scary nightmare. Hohoho.
Where's Conan O' Brien? Oh right, he wrote four of the greatest episodes of The Simpsons, then went to do a talk show. Now, I can no longer watch his new show, Conan, on UK television. That really annoys me.
This is all impulse writing. I am not writing anything particularly coherent. Perhaps you will have enjoyed reading this brief blog entry. Perhaps you didn't. Well, you must have otherwise you wouldn't be reading the sentence I am writing now. Maybe you want more? Go to my Twitter account, twitter.com/guardaviewer.
