So now, I have finally watched the first eleven seasons of Simpsons...

...I am a freak.

I never really took notes while watching the episodes for my top 30 list, so I have to hand-pick some episodes I enjoyed a lot and point out some moments in the show that I liked.

Most of them are probably related to Maggie Simpson, but who cares if I am crazy for her character?

If I had to try and summarize these episodes in one word I guess it would probably be: unmemorable. For a show with nearly 500 episodes already aired having some unmemorable episodes is to be expected of course, but these were probably like that even just a year or ...

As I said in my last installment the Scully Era has often been criticized as being too gag heavy. I really can't disagree with this observation as all of these episodes are very gag heavy. But ...

My parents came back from their trip to North Dakota, and brought back seasons 1 to 5!

So far, I only had time to watch seasons 1 to 3, what with the summer job I have.

I don not know how to rip DVDs onto a non-DVD drive computer, so I have to do a text file of my top 30 episodes.

I enjoyed the Tree House of Horror episodes a lot.
The 2 Herb Powell episodes were great.

I have spent the last two or so weeks re-watching Season 10 of the Simpsons. Season 10 originally aired from the Summer of 1998 to the Spring of 1999. Most fans from its early years tend to consider the first seven, eight, or at most nine seasons to be the "classic era" of the show.
