the other sea and cake album 'oui' is also very good. the decemberists album is also excellent. its not like.. the best thing ever, no. but i like it a lot.. has its claws sunk into my brain to the point where im singing lines from it randomly.

i like the decemberists disc better than the sea and cake. sea and cake is solid, but nothing really jumped out to me. still a fine album, though. decemberists album is better with each listen.

Although the two cake songs arent a variaty every thing else is very difrent, TD is more comedy then anything, Less than jake is ska and thursday is emo, non of it (aside from the cakse song's) are related. Its still not as big of a change as Miles Davis to tool though...

it's a solid album, but no songs are nearly as good as letter from an occupant. that said, i think it's also a more consistent album than the first.
