As for Final Fantasy, I was lucky enough to witness him cover "Fantasy" as well as "this modern love" (bloc party), "peach plum pear" (joana newsom), and "abc auto industry" (OMD) at a concert he did at a small venue in October. It was amazing, one of the best concerts I've ever been too. Luckly I get see him open for Bloc Party soon (perhaps they'll join up for "this modern love"?).
