This supposed studio version of "Follow Me Around" is actually fan-made; there was discussion of this at alt.music.radiohead when it was released last year. Some guy recorded a Thom-only acoustic version of the song off some radio show, then proceeded to add all the instruments himself. Pretty impressive, though...

I am pretty sure that the guy also made a 'studio' version of 'Big Ideas' as well as Follow me Around, I love both songs so I can't wait to hear them. I can't wait until Radiohead record Big Boots (Man-O-War) fully in a studio though, its excellent live it just sounds like it could sound so much better in the studio though. Oh, and True Love Waits would sound great in the studio too.

i really like this "hypnotic underworld" album. which most of you have probably already heard. but in any case, can a japanese falsetto (http://aural.overhype.net/dumbshit/ghost_hazyparadise.mp3) step to a welsh one? i think so.

Roarke
07-20-2004, 10:08 PM
same here. i got it off a site sampson linked to(For br.danielleson, i think) and started getting everything, and immediatly got this after learning they were japanese.

speaking of which. anyone have any more qurali(sp?) songs other than the one nate posted a while ago.

gil

ghost is truly bomb. his other release is pretty sweet too but 'hypnotic underworld' is indeed his best.

also: if someone with webspace at access(gil :-*) want to upload mp3 version of it? the zip corrupts when using a mac, for some reason.

and my top 5:

Patato Y Totico - Ingrato Corazon (http://motoraway.net/jacob/pandt/03%20Ingrato%20Corazon.mp3)(hawwwttt musica cubana)
The Postal Service - Against All Odds (http://users.telenet.be/VreCoZ/The%20Postal%20Service%20-%20Against%20All%20Odds.mp3)(Phil Collins Cover)
Langtry - The Devil's Horse (http://www.motoraway.net/jacob/langtry/05%20The%20Devil's%20Horse.mp3)(had this a while, not sure why it took me so long to put up. Iron and Wine's back up guitarist doing Solo-Acoustic-Guitar, though I'd swear it was two guitars if I haven't seen it live)
The Faint - Random songs from Wet from Birth

it's you-know-where. be patient, 'cause the files are big (first track is 13+ minutes) and my upload is capped at work.

EDIT: cockblocked! ftp's been hosed here thanks to a recent virus scare. 2 and a half tracks will have to do until I can upload from home.
