so, Sir Scott is apparently tackling the Robin Hood tale and Russel Crowe has signed on to play the Sheriff.

Rumors are also circulating that this would be a fair portrayal and actually might be from the Sheriff's point of view and not Robin's.

so, the big rumor was that Christian Bale would play Robin Hood, but it appears that Sam Riley who played Ian Curtis in "Control" is the front runner.

my favorite would have been Christian Bale for the role, but looking forward to the movie anyway.
