Same can be said for Ratner in many ways. His movies arent completely without merit (the only real problem I have with him is fucking up the X-Men trilogy, but I really look at that as Singer's fault). What I find funny is everybodies forgiving attitude toward the Beverly Hills Cop sequels one minute and the next everyone judges Ratner's directing abilities and ideas with unquestioning unhesitating hatred.
