I've always hated "reality shows", I'm always willing to embrace the new sitcoms. The Monday night CBS run I tivo every week.. and NBC's Thursday night is usually all watchable.

Do to mid-day reruns I've grown quite fond of 2 1/2 Men(gets my vote), and the Office is top notch.

Same here, so called "reality" shows suck! Your right about CBS' monday night run although I usally don't watch NBC's thursday The main reason I watch monday night on CBS is two and a half men and how I met your mother, the big bang theroy is passable not my favorite but I'd like to see it in another season.

Agreed. Far too broad.

Voted for The Office on the poll, but meh. I can't think of many other sitcoms I like these days.

Scrubs. I haven't seen any of the other shows (and don't plan to).

it's always sunny in philadelphia

though to be fair, it's the only (non-animated) one i watch. i'm gonna start watching the office soon.

I'm going with the other option. Seinfeld is my favorite sitcom of all time and then possibly Scrubs, Arrested Development and finally a more conventional sitcom Frasier. Other than that sitcoms have gone down the crapper in this decade and I avoid most of them like the plague. Probably a reason why Australian television barely has any nowadays.

one of my favorite sitcoms is "According to Jim" with James Belushi.
It's always funny and i try to watch it every time it is on TV.

"Home Improvement" with Tim Allen is also one of my favorite sitcoms.
I know it's a longtime over, but in my country it's still rerunning from time to time. Have also bought all 5 season DVDs which are available so far.

"King of Queens" with Kevin James is also great and i like the episodes a lot.

If we're talking traditional sitcom, "how i met your mother" is a clear favourite

love the office too.

According to Jim has to be the least funny sitcom ever made. Ever. And I watch damn near any sitcom out there. I like just watching something simple and amusing for half an hour, what can I say. But when there's a show even I can't stomach, it's got to be bad.

I watch the Monday night ones on cbs and the Thursday night ones on nbc. Have many cancelled ones on dvd. I'm definitely with kuu on Sunny. So brilliant.

Pffft, he just copied Jeff Foxworthy. He had a sitcom before his time!

how could you leave out arrested development

I'd venture a guess the thread starter was referring to ones that are currently on the air that he watches.

Either way, arrested should never be left out.

I started watching Curb Your Enthusiasm the other day and already that's gotta be up there with my favourites.

I find it hard to believe this guy actually laughed out loud twice about his post. I mean, what he posted was clearly not in the slightest bit funny people.

That's a pretty limited choice of sitcoms you've chosen.Out of them, I'd have to choose the office, but most of the others are pretty crappy.

aww, someone else mentioned according to jim before nate was able to post in this thread :(

the only new sitcoms i regularly watch are the office and it's always sunny in philadelphia. then again, there aren't a whole lot of new shows on tv anymore that really interest me.
