right now I'd say vertigo, which is probably a top 5 film for me. I'm not even close to having seen them all, but I seriously doubt there's one better than that. the other ones I have seen (the birds, psycho, north by northwest, rear window and maybe 2 or 3 more) are all great though. he was an amazing director.
