This is going to be a blowout. Goldeneye 007 for many reasons including the laptop gun.

Sorry to have to point this out, but the laptop gun was Perfect Dark, not Goldeneye.

Anyway, I too have to pick Goldeneye. As scary and engaging as Silent Hill 2 is, Goldeneye just did too many things in too many ways too well to be ignored in this bracket.

Oh well it had to end somewhere, and as CS has previously said, it's impressive that it even got this far. At least it's to a game that really deserves to be here.

Yeah, but it still kinda sucks given that there's no way I can rationalize in my mind how Goldeneye's dated N64 era fps mechanics (especially in single player) can even compare to Silent Hill 2, even when trying to factor in what Goldeneye achieved in its day and the gameplay limitations of Silent Hill 2. Then again, the love affair with Goldeneye has always been a strange one, even in the context of other first person shooters...

Goldeneye got me into FPS games, they are now among my favorite genre. It was an all around great game, sick story, and amazing graphics for its time.

I don't want to piss people off.

Anyway I'm not just talking about this round, I'm thinking of other rounds where beloved games of mine have been thrashed by games that I don't think much of at all.

007 is my choice. Still love to play it every now and then. Back in the day me and my brother could sit up all night playing multiplayer over and over.
