Question about noise from Playstation

What kind of noise is it? Whirring? Grinding? Something else?

I remember my Playstation was pretty loud when loading, most of them were especially in comparison to later CD systems. Its hard to say without hearing it actually though but I doubt its a problem.

Yeah I think thats normal I still play mine occasionly And it dose make a noise.

Yeah, the original Playstation models were pretty loud, which I think is part of their charm. They got quieter as they improved the original models, though.
