Played both games on the Wii, I found Metroid to be frustrating beyond reason, but fun anyway. Twilight Princess is probably my favourite Zelda game if you believe that, so it gets my vote.

This is a tough choice for me. Both games are part of a long-running and well-respected series, but neither are the best in either series (great, but not the best). The whole old vs. new thing also poses a problem too. Still, I guess I'll vote for Metroid, which while not being the best game by far for Ms. Aran, was her epic launching point.

This is gonna be a bit blasphemous sounding but I think Twilight should win this. Yes there's too much Zelda, but while Metroid is a game that started a franchise and birthed one of the coolest game characters its gameplay while fun, shows its age considerably compared to Super Metroid or Metroid Prime.

At this point, all these games are among the best games of all time so its a good time for it to go, I just don't think its meant to go further than this.

Metroid may have been the introduction of gaming's greatest heroine, but Super and Prime improved vastly upon it.

My vote goes toward a beautiful game that I need to finish already, haha.

This will probably be the only time I don't vote for a Metroid game.

Once I got to the sky dungeon on TP I just couldn't take it. I laid the game aside, and have been trying all year to get back to it.

Metroid though... I'm never sure what in the fuck the game wants from you. Does it really expect me to have super human memory? Super human patience? Or was it actually intended for the player to map the game out as he/she plays??

Doen't matter. I'm massively frustrated by all of those things.

I'll admit I'm surprised at the overwhelming support for Twilight Princess at this point. I thought it would be closer.

I am voting for Twilight Princess though. It is my favorite Zelda since A Link to the Past. Metroid is beyond great, but in the end it is far too difficult of a game to just sit back and enjoy.
