BB is an extremely fun and nostalgia-worthy game (which are always high on my list), but when paired up with MP in terms of innovation and legacy, it just doesn't compare. Farewell, Bub and Bob.

I'll let Sniper take the pity vote for Bub and Bob. Metroid Prime is superior in far too many ways.

I love me some Bubble Bobble with it's simple and endlessly fun formula, but I do enjoy the experience of Metroid Prime much, much more.

I've actually never played Bubble Bobble, but if it makes it's way to Virtual Console I'll snatch it up. Either way, there's not much that's left to be said about Metroid Prime.

Is Metroid Prime ever going to see some decent competition thrown it's way, or what?

I don't know of a lot of games that could give Metroid Prime some decent competition.
