I'm a Halo man in this particular case. Building/being god was never my kinda thing.

Tough choice. As much as I love SimCity games, I always got a little bored with them after awhile... I went with Halo.

Tough one here. Both terrific games, both great at what they do, and both I haven't played. I did pick Halo here because it has one thing over SC2K, which was that it single-handedly gave Microsoft a spot in the console race. I honestly do not think that Microsoft would have lasted six months against the likes of Sony, Nintendo, or even Sega if it hadn't managed to nab a flagship title as addictive, as fun, or as popular as Halo was. Sure it wasn't the most revolutionary of first-person shooters, but what it brought to the table worked very well, and the little touches here and there that had never really been considered in shooters before worked nicely. I might get a little hounded here, but I went with Halo.

Sim City 2000 is near unbeatable, and infinitely entertaining. This is diametrically opposite, to the boring, dull and repetitive world of Halo. SC2K wins easily.

halo; cant even begin to explain how its revolutionized console shooters and sci-fi games. sim city 2000 didnt seem really revolutionizing for the sim city series as sim city 4 was and lacked in terms of gameplay.

almost total freedom
money cheats (allowing a true sandbox mode)

Halo was the first shooter I ever played and it remains as my favorite.

Sim City 2000. I enjoy playing the game off and on, and it is timeless... but not really. Anyways, it wins.

halo. although i never was an xbox guy, or a hardcore fan of shooter games. halo is one of the better ones

Too bad this isn't "Halo vs. other shooters" cuz then it would deserve the votes people are giving it for that reason.

It's Halo vs. SC2k... and Halo deserves to loose.

Anyhow... it seems with this crowd of voters anything thats either not Nintendo or wasn't put out in the last 4 years doesn't stand a chance anyway :(
