Viewtiful Joe is a fun romp. Its got awesome style, but come on...like it or hate it its not hard to see what these very first two Pokemon games spawned even if you weren't that into gaming.

Pokemon, because I, like everyone else here (I assume) got caught up in the whole Pokemon storm, which was at it's peak around the Red/ Blue time. They aren't really fantastic games, pretty standard RPG's with a slight twist, but they are addictive as crack.

I loved the original Viewtiful Joe (it's a shame the series peetered out so quickly afterwards), it was new, addictive, truly challenging, and stylish. However, Pokemon Red and Blue, like it or not, was more or less the start of a cultural phenomenon that's still going today. It also doesn't help that the games were fun, rewarding, strategic, and easy to learn, hard to master.

I had never heard of Viewtiful Joe before someone mentioned it in the lounge or maybe it was the start of the contest or something. Anyway, I have since looked into it, and it is a very solid game. Probably shouldn't win this entire contest, but good enough to win this round.
Pokemon. I remember begging my mum for it. it was really fun, and so was the glitch too. Good times...

Most of the Pokemon era turned out to be a fad (the show, cards, N64 games), but the GB games still hold up quite well. I still remember the one cheat in it...

Pokemon. I could play those games for hours and hours on end. Loved it.
