This isn't a hard choice because I've never played Streets of Rage II. Either way, Mega Man II is pretty hard to beat. Mega Man was a big name back on the original NES, and this was probably his greatest entry (not only for the NES, but ever). It had great level design and bosses, really fun weapons to use, a terrific soundtrack, and a good challenge level, what more could you ask for?

Definitely MM2, great levels, awesome music, really cool powerups, my favorite game in the MM series. SOR 2 was a pretty fun Genesis game, I remember renting it back in the day

MM2 easilly takes this. Streets of Rage II is one of the better beat-em-ups but MM2 along with 3 was the old Mega Man games' pivotal moment.

I mean just listen to that music for the time, everything was really just tightly knit. Look up Screwattack's review on this game on gametrailers, they pretty much sum it up best.
