Yeah, because this will make the Cubs win.
well, they can't get much worse than worst in the NL.
Yeah, because this will make the Cubs win.
Fuck winning. I just wanna see the guys responsible for raping and murdering my love for baseball brought to justice.

Bugay for manager.

Can I be manager now Bugay? I promise 80 wins.
Press conference scheduled for noon CT (half an hour for now) to reveal the fate of other douchebag. The position will probably be open, Kelley.

Is that guys name pronounced macfail?
or is that an old joke in Chicago?
Yeah, that joke's as old as hell.
Dusty's officially out. He's making some brief remarks now.
It's over.

you would call for a double steal at least 3 times a seasons. 75 wins max :)
Dead Nigga Storage

3 times a game...but only if the cubs could manage to have two runners on at the same time in a game.

I dont think DNS would do worse than Baker.
DNS for manager.

he would just bench all the black players.
Dead Nigga Storage

that's a waste of bench space. they'd be cut.

I was going to recommend you put them to work in the stands as vendors. your way is good as well.

i will seriously, 100% honestly say that if i were not a 20 year old, and thus incapable of getting any respect from my players, that i would be at least partially competent as a manager of SOME team. i know it's harder than it looks, but i'm sure i could manage (no pun intended). it sounds insane, but if i got a chance, the team i took would not fall to shit. i say give me the job. don't even pay me. it'll be a wonderful gimmick of a promotion, but i could do it.

little big league was already made.

wasn't he an owner or something? fuck that movie and that kid. i want someone to actually try it with their team and see how it turns out. what does a team like the cubs have to lose? their retard fans show up no matter what. what does a team like the royals have to lose? their non-existant fans don't show up no matter what.

will you be my bench coach?
DAntae

only if I can rush out and get involved when teams brawl, and if we never ever let a pitcher feel good about themselves.
Dead Nigga Storage

it's the cubs. mark prior and kerry wood. they'll never feel good about themselves with me around.
and yes, the whole point of having you is so you can do my dirty, physical, brawl-escalating work while i spit sunflower seeds with my arms folded from the dugout bench, nodding approvingly the whole time.

also we can have our unsupervised children wander around homeplate.
a select few of us here could hold jobs with the cubs. as said what do they have to lose. not like they ever had dignity.

well, i would like to point out that i am at least MODERATELY serious about the concept of an avid fan being able to partially run a team. i know it sounds insane and 1,000 people are capable of jumping down my throat over it, but most of the elements of managing are based around common baseball sense. alot of baseball management is knowing when and where to play the right guys, and then just letting them do the rest...it's why i'm not often an advocate of firing a guy when the team slides...a coach can only do so much with the talent around him.
between setting lineups, rotations, pitch counts, and knowing when to hit and run, sacrifice, etc., most AVID fans know exactly what do it...not to say it's an every man's job, but i don't see it as being an impossible thing for someone "not of the baseball world" to do. it's non-traditional thinking, but i'd like to see someone try it...with a non-20 year old, of course.

baeball is all about matchups and playing percentages. you go on hunches so often. its a reason the good ones tend to always be good. yes talent helps but there is some truth in what your saying.
I have seen the future of the Cubs... and it is Kelley.

if it gets you out of having to hear him announcing the games... definitely worth doing.
