Michael Kay, he is the worst announcer ever . I hate him!!! He was doing his talk show on ESPN Radio and some guy called in complaining that he shouldnt talk about Chien Ming Wang throwing a no-hitter in the 5th inning or something , its baseball etiquette. So Michael Kay flips out on the guy , saying "it used to be etiquette to own black people for slaves", and "to walk jewish people into ovens". And there is "no such thing as baseball etiquette". These are his quotes. I dont know if anybody has heard this but it was disgraceful.

i have never watched a baseball game where a no-hitter was being thrown and it WASN'T mentioned by the commentators. that superstition has been dead for years, because they mention it now constantly. i would consider it more to be bad commentating (considering part of your job is to inform viewers of the game's events) to NOT bring it up at some point.

however, those comments are pretty fucking retarded. not only is it a poor analogy, but it's just...stupid.

oh, and i don't think walking jews into an oven was ever considered "etiquette".

You know who I hate? Howie Rose. That's the point of this thread, right? Kay just happens to be the Yankees' TV play by play man. I don't like him either, but it isn't a stretch that an awful Mets fan would make a stupid thread about him.
