i'm not familiar with most of the people here these days, and i also havent gave any content away before but is there anyone who's used to doing this thing, and how do you choose who gets what etc?

does it matter if people seem more deserving than others? should someone have to prove theyre putting it to good use?

sure i dont really care where this content ends up but i would prefer to be able to know tis going to be used well.

My only recommendation is to pick sites that have been around since at least last fall. There have been a lot of sites that came out in the year and just closed after 2 months because the owner got bored.

I would give the marge site away to one person. Even if that person only hosts it and doesnt add anything.

I liked KK's idea of combining all of his sites (the stuff about Springfield's cars, all the character stuff) into one site, like he did with Monstro Mart. It would be a lot easier than running a bunch of different sites, and it'd be easier to access the content.

I could have sworn your site was actually online, kane (maybe at index.php instead of index.html or whatever). I always say this, but it sucks that another site is (sort of) closed. :/

I wouldn't mind taking those wallpapers for Simpson Crazy, they're all great. And the stamps sections is pretty cool. Hell, I wouldn't say no to images/framegrabs either, but since other people have asked for those give them priority.

BTW, I love your fanart! I remember this pic, was from some kid who posted at the old Cape Feare forum.

i always loved all of your sites kane. springfield yellow pages and in marge we trust in particular. dave, it would be great to see homer's odyssey re-opened again, considering homer is a major character it's a bit sad to see so few (good) sites dedicated to him. also, scott, yeah, pooh bear, or whatever. his website was something like geoshitties.com/myppictors or some load of crap like that.

i wouldn't like to take anything for my burns site (which is being redesigned ATM) as i've always said i'm ok to accept donations of a few images or a quote or whatever but not of hundreds of images. that's how i feel, I want my site when it does re-open to be mostly my work. great to see IMWT, SYP and SITC, brings back memories... heh.
