Anyone have one of these?

I'm at the library today, and I walk into the computer room. Theres these two guys playing the NES version of Mortal Combat on the computer. I asked one guy how he got it, and he said it was an "emulator". Anyone have any good "emulator sites?

Also, do they come in any other system then NES?

Anyway, Emulators are basically like the system. You have to download an emulator inorder to play a game (known as a ROM)

It also came out on Sega's 8 bit Master System. But Im thinking the thread starter meant the SNES which it was also out on, minus blood and fatalities.

I used to use a lot of emulators, but now that I've got most of my original systems working I don't need them anymore. I've still got a few on my computer probably.
