http://homerize.com

I just went there to find this:

Internal Server Error

The directory containing /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/homerize.com/httpdocs/index.php cannot be world writable.

Tip: If you are the owner of this site, more info is at the Globat knowledgebase.

I don't really know what it means. Can anyone explain....?

There was a permissions error. If Brian can get off his ass - presuming that he in fact is on his ass - it'll be up again in a day or two. Otherwise, DS IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!@!!!!1!!1111!1!1!1
:-O

Actually, I wouldn't know for certain, but based on the trend we've been seeing lately, I'd say it's a good guess.

Yeah, the site was falling apart a lot. It hadn't been updated since March 12 when I last visited (about a week ago), and a lot of the design was broken, especially on the framegrabs page.

It's updated after the 12th... he just didn't update the main page.

It's been like that for a good part of the last 2 years. It will be back.

The directory is CHMODed to 644 or 600. Most likely by restoring an old backup.

Sorry guys, a lot of work is going on behind the scenes at the moment and while subdirectories were working fine, somehow the httpdocs folder got chmoded to 777 and the mainpage went on the fritz.

Anyway, after chmoding it back to 755, all is well.

And (as is usual for me), while the site appears dead and images are broken and whatnot, work has been going on. Expect major changes later in the summer.

You're the creator of Destination Springfield, right, Brian S? I must say I'm a very big fan of your site and would hate to see it go off the web. Those are some of the best selections of framegrabs I've seen and when you judge an episode by framegrabs (as I do), that is important.

When you say 'major changes' does that mean you'll update? There are a few season 17 episodes missing, and the link to 'She of little faith' doesn't work. Brilliant site otherwise. :)

Indeed, major changes.

New look, new backend, better usability, more fun.
