I must admit I'm very highly anticipating Key to Springfield since its been in the works for such a long time, pushed back dozens of times supposedly...even now around its supposed launching.

Can't wait to see what its going to be all about though finally, when it does happen...hopefully.

The reason it says that is because Nick Wright, the builder/owner of KTS, suffered serious stress last week (migraines, blood noses, etc) which he believes was caused by stress from trying to get the site up on the right day. he says on MT2 that it probably might not be up for over a month, which isnt a worry, because his health is more important than a website.

i hope he's able to read what you just wrote and realize, however true it may be, how ridiculous it sounds.

it doesn't, he was actually told by a doctor. Dude, he's been having 2/3 hours sleep and I know, I talked to him once. He works on that site for hours. Give him a break

well christ, it's still rediculous. who the hell spends 22 hours a day working on their simpsons website? you've gotta give him credit for the dedication, but there's a fine line between loyalty and lunacy.

that is a bit mad, to be honest. who spends all their time on a simpsons website?

I don't think there's any rush. I can't wait to see the finished product but its a personal project, so he can go at his own pace.

Wow, thats pretty intense though. I hope he takes a break for a bit. Tell him I wish him luck regardless.

Maybe he should spend all that free time he has doing something useful, like finding a job. This is the most pathetic and retarded thing I've read in this forum to date.

Oh and if somebody works on a website 22 hours a day for weeks (or months?), I'd expect nothing short of the best Simpsons-related website ever created. Now who here thinks that'll actually be the outcome?

this really is pathetic, how long has he been posting up the 'release date'?

Migranes and bloody nose from making a website..? hah

i dunno... if he spent that much time on it, and from all the hype that this site is getting, it should have a killer start.

its the first i've heard of it. and he was wasting his time stressing to get the site up on time because this thread has proven that nobody cared to notice until two and a half weeks later.

a simple lesson is to be learnt
if you can't meet a deadline, extend it or don't set one in the first place.
if a simpsons website is your hobby, stiff shit if you dont meet the deadline

assuming the webmaster in question is young, if you are stressing over what SHOULD be a HOBBY, i dont want to know him when he's doing the hardest years of his schooling.

I noticed immediatly but I didn't really think to say anything because I don't feel like its everyone's obligation to please me perfectly...especially considering its a personal website that he's not being payed to make.

Honestly, don't you guys think your being a bit needlessly harsh to the guy? Its not like he's paraded the thing around this website or anything unless I've missed something.

i dont think it has anything to do with the site, the guy, or anything he's done in the past. if he's giving himself migranes and blood noses over what is supposed to be a bit of fun how do you expect people to react to that?

i believe i was told to 'give him a break'...

quite clearly the only person that needs to give him a break is himself. i hope he's learned a lesson from this.

Exactly - this guy didn't open the thread.

And if he feels like opening a thread to hype, that's his business, but I'm not seeing anything productive coming out of having this right now.

wait, the stress from opening a simpsons site on time was giving this kid nose bleeds?

Nerdiest thing possible?

I respect the dedication, but chill.
