Well, it was a little earlier than expected, but here it is, my new web news and opinion site:

Leave some comments on the design and content, and let me know if you're interested in a link exchange.

I like how you used screen shots of other sites in the design. But the text goes to far to the side, it's kind of annoying. Other than that I can't complain, good job grissom.

Grissom I love the idea of this site, and I like how you update about other sites its great to make a one stop when you only got like 5mins to check so many simpsons sites, I also love the opinion section and how you took the time to make full reviews. Good job grissom.

Nice looking site. It misfires when I click "news" from the front page, but otherwise quite solid and well organized.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it's doing that. It just links back to the homepage where the news is anyway.

Dude, I'd love to help work with ya there, I always wanted to do a site like that, just never had the time. Also, did you make the design?, it's great!

It's not bad. Not nearly as biting as I thought it might be, but it still does the job.

It looks marvelous.

Mike - Yep, I made the design. Thanks for the offer, but I'd rather keep it a solo effort.
menthol moose - I tried not to be too negative, but there are a few semi-mean comments in there. I haven't reviewed any sites that are really bad yet anyway.

Great work Grissom, as usual. ;) I really like your rant about the broken community. Seriously, what a waste of valuable server space for some crappy "unoriginal" thing. I agree with it. Anyway, I don't know if this is my problem or not, but one of your nav buttons appears off centered a bit. Specifically, the about button. Great design! So other than that nav button, it's great!
Let me rephrase that. The text for the about button doesn't line up with the other nav button texts. It is a bit lower than the rest.
that looks pretty neat. i wasnt really expecting my site to be on there :p (yes, the webmaster's {me} name is definitely ivan ;) ) i probably shouldnt, but i actually agree with practically everything you said about it, even some of the bad(der) stuff.
quite a nice site there, grissom

Pretty good. I don't like the design, don't know what exactly it is but it doesn't seem to fit together. Also, I don't like the scan lines background (perhaps make it more subtle by using closer colours), and you need spacing between the edge of the yellow box and the text.
Content though, is good. I think you could do more than simply saying what you like on a site and what you don't like, but I can't think of anything else to put.
this was the vaguest post ever.

Glad to see people can put together 'quality' sites in 4 days now. True, not much content is REQUIRED for a site like this, but if you put in an extra couple of weeks, you COULD have an amazing site to open with. I just hate rush jobs with minimal content and minimal effort. Not bad on the design, colors kinda contrast each other though.

I read a couple of the reviews, seemed pretty solid - I"m with Jon that you should have waited a bit, but if you throw a lot of effort into it while people are still checking back it should work out fine.
There's a slight margin or padding error in Firefox with the left side of the text, runs into the background...
Also, thanks, nice review :)
i was kind of surprised that you launched this early as well. alas, we can't change that. i guess if you keep working hard it will turn out okay in the end.
not a big fan of the design, but a site that is entirely focused on written content doesn't need to look beautiful. as long as it's functional (which it is for the most part), it works fine.
it seems like a lot of your reviews and editorials are one-paragraph shots. i'd like to see more spacing or more paragraphs in your writing. maybe elaborate some more. again, this could be a side-effect of rushing to get the site up, but i think if you take your time on your future reviews, they'll look more full and less run-on.
overall, good start. keep plugging away.

I second the multiple paragraphs. You should also date your reviews because as the sites improve, your reviews may become outdated.

I'm going to date everything. When sites re-design or improve a lot over time, I'm going to write new reviews. As for the multiple paragraphs, I'm not sure if there's really enough stuff to elaborate on and expand into more than 1 paragraph. I'll try it next review though.
