number 1: A little messy, but I'm sure that's just because it was a quick one that you did.
number 2: Very good. I think it could use some background, though.
number 3: Just...really really good. I like this one a lot. The shading is great, and it's overall done very well. Lisa's mouth looks a little strange, though.
overall: Very good fanarts.
Sorry about the bad quality of this one. It's a fake "movie poster" that I just made.

Marge's upper lip is too thin. Back eye should not be larger than front eye. Width of hair should only be slightly wider than width of head. Eyelashes should be longer and curved. Hair should be visible wraping around back of forehead.
Hair on top of Homer's head should be wider at this angle. Top of Homer's head should be made from a circle, or a slightly square circle (I've drawn it too small). Homer's nose should not go back so far. Muzzle should be taller and less wide. "M" hair should be smaller.
Bart's eyes and nose are too large here. His ear should be lower. Above his ear, his head should tilt back slightly and flare, not taper. Bart's hair should be rounded, not perfectly level. Since Bart's neck has to fit into his shirt, his shirt needs to be larger than his neck. His shirt sleeve should be constructed from a circle and should not have a point at the top.
Lisa: same thing with the eyelashes, and the thing with Bart's shirt applies to Lisa's dress also. Lisa's mouth is really misshapen here and her nose is too wide at the base.
Maggie's eyes should be circles, and again, eyelashes should curl. Maggie's ear should be lower so that it meets with the line from her neck. Her head, overall, should be larger.
Christ it's only fanart. Everyone has their own style. Go have a chuck at John Costanza at how he fucks up Simpsons Comics.

Those are some nice works. I wonder how can I work with coloring by computer.
Don't get me wrong. I do have works painted by myself (organic paints, not computer stuffs), but I really want to know how to color stuffs on computer.
Do you use photoshop?
We have two computers. One has photoshop, but I'm on the one that doesn't have it (the one with photoshop is currently down for some reason...we gotta get it fixed). Normally I would use photoshop, and then save it as a GIF image. For the one above, however, I used MS Publisher and MS Paint together so I could easily put the image in paint and colour the individual sections of the characters. For some reason, Paint screws up the colours when you save it as GIF, so I saved it as JPEG. Once the other computer is up and running I'll try another version of the same picture in Photoshop.

Most of the fan art that has been done is about Lisa. (If you don't believe me check out Simpsons Realities) I wonder why that is?

Its not really on topic, but I guess she's just a favorite character most of the time...like she strikes a chorde.
If I had to think of one other reason...in my experience the more dramatic, I guess we could say more potentially emo-centric characters tend to get a lot of fan art on the internet...I guess because that type of character just simply appeals to them.
Look at the Simpsons section of fanfiction.net. If your not overly sensitive to some of the rather questionable material, you'd find that most of the stories center around Lisa. They tend to range from pretty well written, darker takes on the character to downright "wallowing in self-pity" stories. Maybe since Lisa is the show's main personification of "the individual", she has a lot of potential for that kind of view.
Characters like that, the "sole voice of reason" tend to strike a chorde with a lot of people I guess.
here's a marge one i just finished:

Are you making these yourself? I admire the effort, but it really is pointless stuff. Especially since you've make the text into an image...
i have saved them as both an image (like above) and as text

The Marge one, is actually a Grabpic (now that I think about it Homer might be too, but I cant tell) which was turned into ASCII art. I know NickofTime draw Marge like that.
I actually got the one of Marge off Google. It originally had a picture of Marge with her normal hair next to it, but I cropped that before I made the actual ASCII art.

Gee, these are very good ivan_simpsons, I'm impressed. I especially like the movie poster. Actually, that would be a great competition; for fans to submit designs for the upcoming movie poster.
Do you draw other stuff?.....You should.

The ASCII art that you did is really good. It looks like they must have took awhile to do. I like that yours is colored because most of the ASCII art that I see is just black and white.
