Hi, if you're reading this Jake Lennington, thank you! I got your e-mail, and I have another problem. When I try to put your comic in word, it just shows code. I tried putting it in Mic. Paint, but it split the picture! What should I do?
What? You're off already?! :ot: :yell:

Does this really warrant it's own thread?

To save/edit the pics, use photoshop, otherwise the results might be less than desirable. (Oh, and keep this to email, okay?)

Oh, sorry. I just didn't want to crowd your inbox. And what the hell is photoshop? I don't think I have it...

Photoshop is a 'basic' image editing program made by Adobe Systems. If you don't have it, chances are your school's computer lab might.

Oh, they have it, but I'm not allowed to go in alone. Cheap jerks! Just because I crashed every computer in school only twice, they only let me use it for classwork. Plus, how could I bring the pics over there? And it would take a long enough time for a teacher to find out what I'm doing.
Maybe I can download the software off the net...

That could be tricky since the program needs the authentication code off the package when you install it. Anyway, what other programs to you have?
Also, just save the pictures in a folder by using the right-click ---> "Save As" option and save away. Store them on three or four floppy disks and then bring them to the computer lab.

Whenever I'm in the lab, a teacher has to be in there. They would see something if I printed it. Do you have any idea the concequences for doing something like that? That's like, 3-day suspension! I think I can just download photoshop off the net. Oh, yeah. I read your comic, It rocked! Using a sword as a springboard plank, I knew someone would finally wise up to use it like that! I was starting to worry people would never figure it out! :D I have every page of the comic saved.

You can't download photoshop off the net. But you could probably download a free trial for 30 days off the net and try it out before you spend 600 bucks on it. Or you could get photoshop elements for 600 bucks less if you're strapped for cash.
No offense lisalover1 but you really need to do research into things. I'm not talking about just this thread but others. You wanted THOHC to come back...and they never stopped making them in the first place. You wanted the first four SCSS...even though theirs only 2 at the moment. Also, in another thread you claimed you have a tenor sax and you want to swap it for a baritone one, but then you said you did an amazing performance on your baritone even thoguh you claimed not to have one. You seriously have to do research. Also, stop making pointless threads. The "THEYRE LATE!" one in the Android's Dungeon was pointless. Fox isn't late with the DVD...they can put it out whenever they want. Just because there was four months between two sets doesn't mean there's always going to always be a four month wait. One last thing...why didn't you a) just email Jake, or b) post this in the thread where you asked what Jake's username was? Whew I feel better now I've got this off my chest.

First of all, at the rate the THOHC's were coming out, I pretty much assumed they were going under. I think you misinterprited my thread on that one. What I MEANT to say was it really ticked me off when those comics or anything ended with "The End?" I wanted them to bring back sequels of those. On the SCSS comics, I just saw an ad for them in a comic, and I failed to read the print underneath that said, "Coming in June." It was a stupid mistake! Cut me some slack! And for the instruments, what are you talking about? I clearly stated that I had a Baritone. It was the 1st Instrument on my list! Maybe YOU failed to see that. The "they're late" thread, by the rate they were releasing them, I assumed they would follow a pattern. Like many people here, I really, really like the Simpsons, and love to watch them, and too bad if you have anything against that! And for this thread, from what I've been experiencing lately with people, [some on this site, some not.] That not many people answer E-mails. Jake, I assumed was like everyone else in this way, because now, I am used to it. Plus, his PM box was full. There. Explanations for everything.
To: Bluemoose: WHOA! It costs $600?! Holy Crap! That's insane! But, all I need is a free trial to print a comic out, assuming what Jake said will work on my computer.
To: GatorGod: What's Gimp2? Where can I get it? If it does the same things as photoshop, and will print what I need right the same way?

You're probably better looking at the Macromedia products (Flash/Fireworks) but now Adobe has bought Macromedia out, but luckly you can get a trial on the Macromedia website (http://macromedia.com) and find a serial code to get yourself the thing forever.

So does that make it free, or do I still have to pay? When I go there, there is no free trial! I don't want to pay $649 NOBODY pays that much for software, except whole companies!

first off: http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp. scroll down, there's a free trial for photoshop.
and plenty of people pay that much for software, otherwise photoshop wouldn't sell. a lot of people need it. i have framemaker, which is $800. you have to be willing to shell out a fair amount of cash if you want top quality. ;)
