Uhh, shouldn't you have waited until you actually figured out where the picture was before making the thread?

I thought I could find it when I started the thread...

I tried, but this is all I could come up with:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures\Chris\DSC00963.JPG
You've tried just putting it staright on here from your hardrive. you have to go to imageshack or another hosting site and upload it there. then they will give you the URL where the picture is stored on the internet and you post the link here.

Imageshack said it was too big, so I installed the image resizer, now I can't find it on my computer!
well theres other hosting sites like photobucket and filelodge
lisalover1

I just need to know where the resizer is standardly installed on a computer. :tired:
if its saved as bmp maybe change it to jpeg or gif because it makes the file size much smaller.

So all I have to do is change a few letters? What if it's saved as jpg?
i think thats the same as jpeg

05-08-2006, 03:22 AM
Awww, crap! Wait, what's the smallest type I can save it as?
lisalover1

I'll try that.

GIF has a higher quality if your image has less than 256 colours in it, if it has more to 16 million then use JPG. Both are compressed, it depends on how many different colours (and shades of each colour you have in your image) if you're unsure try both and then upload the one with the better quality.

So, THEN imageshack will accept it?
Solid Snake

Imageshack takes both. I'm just saying about what is better to use for the excention.

When I go to imageshack, it says the Image is too large.
Well try a different host.

I just e-mailed you the pic.
I love this kid and his many threads. Quite entertaining. No, I don't have a life.
I feel like Gatorgod - Even if the picture of Lisa is just a dot and a line I'll love it. I only hope he doesn't have to make the internet crash twice before we can see it.

dude, just open your picture, go to "save as", and save it as "mypicture.jpg" or "mypicture.gif" (obviously, replacing "mypicture" with whatever you want). i would save it as a jpeg, because if your picture has more than 256 colors in it, then saving it as a gif will reduce the quality. then host it with imageshack, they should take it once it isn't bmp/dib anymore.

It doesn't appeal to me.
lisalover1
05-11-2006, 03:52 PM
It's okay to me that it doesn't appeal to you. It is only my first.
Finally! I should've known it would be out of focus. Pretty much the only thing that could disappoint me now.
It doesn't feel like Lisa to me. Unless she's got infected by Predator-DNA. The technique might be all right. It's not sharp enough to really tell.

I'm sorry it's out of focus. I don't have a working scanner... :( I tried drawing Lisa, age 14, with very long hair.
